Me he llevado una gran y grata sorpresa con Salitre y cenizas, de Carlos di Urarte. Creo que la mayor de un escritor español de fantasía.
Fantasía oscura ambientado en un norte de España pseudomedieval dominado por un cristianismo retorcido (más aún), el Cristo Ahogado, y en el que habitan brujas, demonios y seres paganos. Me ha sabido un poco a Blasphemous con toques de Cthulhu.
El protagonista, pequeño spoiler, es un chico transexual, y me ha parecido muy creíble, es muy fácil empatizar con él. Aunque mucho de su personalidad gira entorno a su identidad de género, no me ha parecido para nada forzado.
Sangre, muerte, sexo, tortura... Quedáis avisados.
