Winter sowing did not really go so good. Huge plus for the low effort, but so far only 1/4 of the seeds have sprouted. There is a lot of algae though, so it resulted in something green at least...

Sowed annuals, biennials and perennials today. 320 seed tray cells in all. Seems a bit over the top as I only wanted to plug a few gaps in borders. Don't know how it happened.

Several pint jars of still hot jalapeño jelly, green in color with flecks of white seeds and some red peppers to round out the flavor and colors.

Soaked a variety of hot chili seeds in the water today. Will be planting them tomorrow. Our gardening season is almost here—time to start seeds every week. Babies will stay in the shade on the patio because it’s too hot to be out in the direct sun yet. Too wet too.

On red towels are heads of green and red lettuces, collards, peas, couple of green onions and some small heads of broccoli.

Last *big* harvest of spinach.....they're all going to seed, and wow, oh wow, does one seed head produce an amazing cloud of pollen. Red and green crisps, as well as arugula will be very productive for a month or more. #gardening #vegetables #gyo #growfromseed
