Trump demands #Iran’s ‘unconditional surrender’ and says #US won’t kill supreme leader ‘for now’

Donald Trump has posted on social media that the #UnitedStates knows the location of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah #AliKhamenei. He added that the US would not kill #Khamenei but called for Iran’s “unconditional surrender”.

“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there - We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social.

He followed up with a second post a few minutes later, writing: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!”

In a post published about thirty minutes earlier, #Trump said, “We now have complete and total control of the skies over #Iran.”

In 2019-20, before the widespread availability of generative AI, plagiarism accounted for nearly two-thirds of all academic misconduct.

A tree with a sunset view to the sea

There are days when settling down and starting a travel business on a Pacific Island feels slightly tempting as an alternative career.

Like this day, years and years ago.

Not the most challenging hike along the ridge to the top of this tropical island, but the stunning view was worth far more than the afternoon light effort.
Backpacking along a Pacific island like Tavewa, hopping along the Yasawa islands chain in Fiji near Equator got its challenges.

Not big ones. But still.

Then, enjoying part of the vast body of water that is the South Pacific, the different size and types of islands, the colours and the outlook into the far horizon, and the different types of vessels people use to get around.

It makes your mind fly and the inspiration flow.

Photo shows an outlook view from an elevated hill towards a set of smaller pacific islands. The nearest is a low crescent shaped one with palm trees and forest and a white beach. Behind the low island is an island with a set of small hills and small natural harbours with some huts and some boats moored. Behind the Pacific is stretching towards the horizon where there might be some island shapes under a light blue afternoon sky, with some clouds building up. In front of the photo there is a single small tree sharing the view. Down the hill for the tree, there is a larger body of water and two thirds of the way to the low beach island there are a collection of sailboats, motorboats and a small cruise ship berthed for the night. The sea is deep indigo blue. The tree has the warm colours of a late afternoon setting sun.

A large newspaper website tried to shame me into accepting more tracking cookies, telling me they're losing advertising revenue. It's there a way of telling the folks working there that this is Google's biggest lie and that they don't need to accept it?

Der Unterschied ist frappierend und da dies massive Runterrechnen von Teilnehmer*innen bei demokratischen Demos regelmäßig passiert, muss die Frage erlaubt sein, ob hier absichtliche Desinformation vorliegt.
