Il faut installer via Winetricks la DLL vb6run, puis lancer MappingOut avec Wine

Presque 15 ans après ma dernière session dessus, je relance Guild Wars, pour voir s'il est toujours aussi bon que dans mes souvenirs
Graphiquement, évidemment, les modèles de perso sont dans leur jus (le jeu est de 2005), mais les textures sont en haute résolution et au niveau artistique, ça a de la gueule
Il tourne comme une fusée sur Linux avec Wine
Dans la zone tuto, j'essaye d'obtenir le succès d'être niveau maximum, et les quêtes mises en place pour aider à y passer ne sont pas simple, pour un joueur solo :/ (au moins, il y a quelque chose, contrairement au départ où il fallait limite tordre le jeu pour y arriver)

I can't believe that the secret to solo Hard Mode Slavers' Exile was Frozen Soil and giving my overworked minion master the day off. But that's how Hayda finally got pants #guildwars

Found some really old backups from 2007. Appearantly I was playing Guild Wars back then. Whom do you guess I was playing it with?

And the graphics still look okay today, of course a little bit less polygons. The art style is unmatched. It was a good successor for WoW to me back then.
