13-Feb : Most memorable design for the opening credits?
There were many great animated opening credits this year. But the opening that I remember is "Flex X Cop" - the colors & the music really made it.
Note: Gyeongseong Creature's opening was also amazing - especially once you knew the story.

07-Feb : Most memorable character development?
Jang Tae Sang (Park Seo Joon) in Gyeongseong Creature. A man who lived for himself begins to question his values as he becomes concerned for someone else. It's difficult for a character to change so much and still have it be believable. Park Seo Joon does an amazing job.
2. I'm massively binge watching #kdrama #MrPlankton I'm on episode 8 already (6 was traumatic and glad to move on) This is much like a year ago with #gyeongseongcreature s1 perhaps it's something to do with time between New Year and back to work

End of the Year Drama Challenge Day 1:
Which types of dramas do you prefer?
Characters with heart. Who connect to others. Characters who may be prickly on the outside but whose true intentions are genuine and endearing. Dramas with friendships and relationships, with lots of interesting interactions within them. Endearing silliness.

I finally finished #GyeongseongCreature (season 1). I don't normally watch horror, but make exceptions every now and again. I'm glad I did for this one — absolutely worth the hype: it's beautifully shot, the special effects hold up, the casting is great, and the story is engaging. I'm super curious to see how they pull off season two given the ending of season 1 and what I've heard.

Unusual in that it depicts the Japanese occupation in 1945 & the war crimes. Many actors turned down the roles because the topic is too sensitive.
When you hate horror, but you find yourself rooting for the creature, you know the writing & acting are fabulous. The costumes are wonderful, the sets, the props, all superbly executed. It is a stellar production.
An unwilling hero finds himself "drafted". Enlisting the help of professional detectives, they set off to find out what exactly is happening. It's a great mystery thriller with action, family & community, & romance.
The questions of what would you do under torture, what do you turn a blind eye to, how much risk are you willing to take, will haunt you as you see what the characters are up against.
Anxiously awaiting part 2.
