What am I going to talk about at #hcpp24 in #Prague
Thanks to the Internet, humanity is changing. I want to take you on a journey to understand this change, what types of crowds exist, and how to work with them to change a centralized system (like our current one). Then, I will switch to the FOSS world to see what good YOU can do on a big scale for humankind.
Who's coming to #hcpp24?
In 2017 I prepared, along with a friend, this sticker for #hcpp congress. The link took you to a website about "distributed states" and asked you to sign up for a newsletter.
This is the starting point of my lecture this year in #hcpp24 about The Democratic Web.
All the lectures I gave in the last few years were either on a project or research I did. But my #HCPP24 lecture is about "The Democratic Web", which is at this stage more of a vision I'm working towards than an existing project.
This makes writing the talk much more challenging than before. I mean, I can speak about it for hours with no problems. But how can you do it for 45 minutes without losing people's attention? Which aspects will mesmerize the audience?
It took me a while but slowly I managed to make my #hcpp24 talk about #DemocraticWeb something that excites me to give. I hope it will also be exciting for others to hear.
