Der #Austernfischer (#Haematopus ostralegus) ist sicher einer der Charaktervögel der deutschen und niederländischen Inseln. Lustigerweise wird er wohl im Volksmund auch Friesenstorch genannt :-)

Schwarz-weißer Austernfischer im Flug mit ausgebreiteten Flügeln vor blauem Himmel. Der Vogel zeigt seinen charakteristischen orangeroten Schnabel und die rötlichen Beine, während er über eine unscharfe Landschaft fliegt. Seine Flügel weisen das typische Muster mit schwarzen Oberseiten und weißen Unterseiten auf.
