Yippee-ki-yay, merrymakers! I started the day with a glass of freshly ground, patiently dripped Kaʻu honey typica. If you don’t keep a delicious coffee for special days, get one. We followed that with our gift exchange and, soon, sweet potato pancakes. After breakfast, we’re headed out to watch what I’m sure will be a relaxing movie, Nosferatu. Happy Yule, y’all.

The substance of common ground amongst these stories is what matters. Not which story is right, rather which expression of Love will we resonate with. So when the Witch says #BlessedBe or #HappyYule and the Christian says #MerryChristmas we understand both acknowledge the energy of Love that lights the world.

Instead of a bouquet at this evening’s #concert I received a gorgeously enormous #cuetlaxōchitl (Euphorbia pulcherrima). It was a chilly post-performance trek, so I hope a bit of TLC in a warm space will encourage it to maintain its happy vibrancy.

Had a lovely evening as a soloist #singing excerpts from John Rutter’s Magnificat on a concert of assorted #music. Here’s a selfie with two more of tonight’s soloists, #baritone Keith Eric Brinkley and #tenor Alex Lyons. Soprano Barbara Quintiliani also sang, but I wasn’t able to get a photo with her. Her performance of Adolphe Adam’s “Cantique de Noël” was gorgeous! It was a privilege to share the stage with her, Keith and Alex.
