His leg articulation is a little hampered by his chunky calves, but he still looks good even just kinda standing there. I don't have any particular like for this character, but this is a cool toy!

Chromedomes' little headmaster/titanmaster partner is named Stylor and I don't know what the lore for the Titans Return story was, but in G1 he was an alien from the planet Nebulos.

The design leans way more into the vampire aspect of the g1 character than his original toy, new toys, or other 3rd party versions of him do! I much prefer this look!

DeskBot today is a chap I had given up on, Titans Return Brainstorm!

I've mentioned Hasbro shenanigans before. This was more of it. Brainstorm comes from a squad of four in the original G1 toyline. In the 2016 Generations toyline, Titans Return, his mates were all released through normal retail channels. Brainy, though, got a special Store Exclusive release that made him harder to get than some of my jokes. He quickly disappeared, shot up in price on the secondary markets, and everyone who had one wasn't selling him. His Japanese release by Takara did similar. I missed out and eventually gave up hope. 3 out of 4. Not bad, you might think, but agony to a Collector.

But Lo, I managed to find an ebay auction last week for a non-insane price that -astonishingly- no-one else bid upon! And here he is! Reunited and Completing The Set. And he has some Toyhax stickers applied too giving him extra bling! Ahhh, it's a beautiful thing. 😍

Fun Fact: these toys are "Headmasters". Their heads detach and turn into little alien/robot men (depending on your source material). In Yankmerica that's fine because it's a term not used by anything else. In the UK however, that's what we call our School "Principals": the Headmaster. So you can imagine our sneers at age 10 getting these toys through. "Pew pew pew! Quiet down! No Running in the corridors!"

As fiction depicts the little robot head man and the larger robot as having separate personalities. this melding process confers some weird kind of mind-melding personality benefit, or something, that makes them AWESOME. Don't argue: it's LORE.

While Vorath uses and abuses science and technology to make weapons, Mindwipe has the ability to hypnotize other creatures, weather robot or organic, and can also read surface thoughts from people. Mindwipe is very much styled as a vampire in Transformers form. So spooky pics seemed right for him!

Mindwipe is a Decepticon from the tail end of the G1 Transformers series. He's a Headmaster, meaning his head can detach and become a seperated robot. Mindwipe is also a huge believer in the occult and witchcraft. His Headmaster partner Vorath is a scientist who uses facts and logic and the two don't often agree on things.
