Mostly because I was a) wanting to try out the ganesha server provisioner anyways and b) because I could not get it working with Longhorn. But I might have been just to tired to find the right knobs to turn, so I'll give it another spin tomorrow!
News from my homelab:
My single node OpenShift "cluster" is now running the nfs-ganesha-server-provisioner to provide ReadWriteMany storage to the OpenShift Virtualization, so I can run VMs in OpenShift!
(The nfs server is using a persistentVolume provided by Longhorn and makes this available as RWX storage. Don't talk about performance, but nice that this works...)
Currently looking into the documentation to see how I can actually make the VM reachable from the outside... :-)

I seem to remember a very simple tutorial / explanation how to shrink a database that is taking up too much space (after being in use for a long time), while the dump is a **lot** smaller.
Database directory: 54GB
Dump: 900MB
xz-compressed dump: 130MB
Is deletting and re-importing the dump really the only way? Or is it just my search-foo failing me?
