Somewhere in the middle I squeezed in a copper tree workshop, had a trip to the cinema to see a preview of our magical Christmas ad, created (and cleared up!) total chaos, got my hair chopped, and spotted me & MrMac on the telly box. So not much then. ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ

About last week...

Phew, where do I even start?! It was an absolute whirlwind of finishing the new collection and getting ready for our festive late night opening and Christmas light switch on. Which, by the way, was an incredible evening, and the good folk of Hexham REALLY showed up!

A beer from Allendale that I haven't had? We must correct this situation. I do like a red rye beer, and this one is helping Northumberland Wildlife Trust. Charity beers don't count for the alcohol allowance, do they?

I've just been to the premiere of this at the Forum cinema, and it looks fantastic. Already getting some media attention, hoping for some more soon.

HUGE thanks to the powerhouse that is Lindsay of Mr Wolf for pulling this together as it's been a massive undertaking. I was absolutely delighted to be asked to take part and cannot wait for us all to gather together later today to see the premiere! And don't worry, I'll be sharing the film in full just as soon as I can, but in the meantime here are a couple of the stills we've been given. ๐Ÿงก

Eeek, today's the day! You may recall my posting some sneaky peeks at a bit of Christmas filming taking place a few weeks ago. Well, I can now finally reveal that the indies of Hexham have come together to create a magical advert to promote for shopping small this Christmas. ๐ŸŽ„

Good patterns in the puddles this morning though

Snow!

Not much, just enough to cover surfaces and leave everything manky, but it's definitely snow.

Beautiful stones deserve to be seen from the back as well as the front. I love creating open backed settings which allow as much of nature's beauty to be seen as possible. This stunning dendritic opal will form part of my winter mini collection, coming soon. โœจ

Christmas has finally arrived at LollaMacHQ and I'm LIVING for the sparkly lights in my festive window! โœจ

This week I've been working on a new mini-collection for the upcoming season. There's still some finishing off to do, but keep your eyes peeled for some sneaky peeks over the coming days.

The local club is up for sale, following the collapse of its chimney stack earlier this year and (apparently) ongoing discussions about insurance cover (or lack thereof).

I wonder if the scaffolding is included in the asking price? Do you think the EPC has been updated to take into account the massive hole in the side of the building?

And a heads upโ€ฆ after keeping my workshop prices the same for the past couple of years, the ever increasing price of silver over the past few months has left me with no choice but to increase my workshop prices going forward. BUT these last two spots are still available at the current price, giving you even more reason to make one of them yours right now!
