Sur un fond blanc, le détail de pétales d'iris surexposés , en mode bichromie, ce qui donne un rendu bleu violacé. Le premier pétale part du milieu du bas de l'image et va jusqu'en haut. il dessine une double volute presque transparente délicatement veinées de bleu. Un pétale plus sombre occupe le bas de l'image à gauche, on en voit peu de détail, un troisième, vu très partiellement entre dans l'image , à mi hauteur du bord gauche en ondule doucement . Une ligne plus sombre accompagne ce mouvement dansant.
