An enduring relic of the Scottish Isles, this house on the Isle of Harris stands amidst a stark, beautiful landscape. With its decaying structure and lonely presence, it invites us to imagine the lives that were once lived within its stone walls, in harmony with the wild and unforgiving environment of the outer Hebrides.

A lovely sunny afternoon. We went to another #CommunityWoodland. The dog enjoyed her walk and we:
Played a wooden #xylophone (the dog was not impressed)
Tried a #balance #track (this was a biggy for me as I have a compromised balance system) which we both completed perfectly
And we sat on this lovely #bench (OK, I got a soggy bottom, but it dried in minutes).
