Yesterday, we were at local art cinema to watch Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy.

A few observations:
- not many people had their towels
- not many people got peanuts with their beer
- I remember the movie to be disappointing the first time I saw it, but over the years, I actually started to enjoy it, especially the little things, like the original Marvin, Douglas Adams head - and also the actors (because I saw them in many other movies over the years and I enjoy their appearance)
- I cried a little while hearing Alan Rickman's voice

Overall, very cozy experience and Earth was not destroyed.

Today is the Towel Day and every year, I see less and less people carrying their hitchhiker's towel around. It's almost like the charm of the Book of Books is slowly dying, buried under the larger and larger pile of content our civilization produces.

It's sad. But I will carry my towel around, year after year, and recite vogon poetry to anyone not fast enough to run away.
