There is one bluebird on the feeder with its beak open. It is yelling at the two other birdbirds trying to get into the feeder, one hovering nearby and one perched on a feeder strut.

A female bluebird who had been eating from the feeder rises, wings spread, to drive away a male trying to displace her.

One bluebird takes wing from the feeder, while another waits nearby for its turn.

A bluebird exits the feeder, mealworm in its beak, as another lands on the opposite side of the feeder.

Who else is embarrassed for #WTHR? The #CircleOfLights broadcast is so bad. Just as the lights were about to be turned on, they went to a Riley Children’s Hospital commercial not once, but TWICE, and missed the lights being turned on. The overall production value was way down from past years.
