Diplomacy in the #Metaverse:

I will be teaching this term a new course about the role of #virtualreality platforms in the conduct of #diplomacy.

For group exercises, I will be using Oculus Quest 2 headsets. I have designed a few small experiments to conduct with students in #Meta #HorizonWorkrooms, but I would welcome additional suggestions, in Workrooms or other #VR applications.

The coolest thing about having #ApacheGuacamole in my #HomeLab is that I can use my #Proxmox VMs with #ZorinOS #Linux, or #Windows11 from any #VR app that includes a browser, such as #MeetinVR, #MetaQuest Home, #EngageXR.

Though my primary #XR4Work app is #ImmersedVR, that works with Windows, Linux or Mac, it's good to have options.

Other apps such as #vSpatial or #VRDesktop work great but only for Windows.

#HorizonWorkrooms does not work because it requires a GPU that my VMs don't have.
