Maggie happily grazes in her meadow that is full of Bluebonnets, Indian Paintbrushes, and lush green grass. In the distance is a weather worn barn with the flag of the Lone Star State painted on the roof.

This pale color mare grazes in the wildflowers. I chose the name of Maggie not just because the alliteration with the word meadow, but because the name means ‘Pearl’. This lone horse with cream color tones made me think of the sheen a pearl has. So the name Maggie just fit right with the scene. This mare is a beautiful ‘gem/pearl’ among the Texas wildflowers. You stand in her meadow; you found her.

Idol of Hindu deity Krishna in bright purple seated in the driver seat of a horse-drawn gilded chariot with a silver figure of Arjuna in the passenger seat.
