#malmö - Gamla Väster (Old West Side), one district that survived the Swedish demolition frenzy in the 60's and 70's. There were actually plans to level this entire area to the ground. Luckily this never happened.

Today it is not as gentrified and posh as one might suspect, even if that is the case for the most part. There are still somewhat affordable houses and apartments among the less so. A diverse, living and vibrant area.
