I've always taken it up a notch on the stepping stones of #WickedProblems to say its #Hypercapitalism we must tackle.
Now deeper insight gleans. We 'deserve' these problems. Simply because we're incapable to do better at large scale. But moreover we fall short at smallest scale:

I can't get over the fact that not only are we being sold a shittier version of Google search marketed as "AI". But we are also expected to feed its need for data, all while not being able to trust the answers it spews out.

For decades leftists have cheerfully called some especially troublesome developments in our society #LateStageCapitalism or post capitalism - acting like those developments were a sign that capitalism has run its course and we'd be freed from it soon.
I never understood that, as the natural successor to (hyper) capitalism is fascism, not socialism.

I hate hypercapitalism. Not only taking away the capacity to buy affordable homes 🏡 by artificially raising prices, they're even going after cookies 🍪 by artificially raising interior packaging.

I've had to take a forced break from art. My SO has been diagnosed with an incurable auto-immune disease. Her meds are expensive and needs assitance. I am the main breadwinner and the one with health insurance. She also has to pick up extra hours that only worsen her condition.
If only America didn't value a national game of monopoly over things like heathcare, education, art and life. I was raised with national pride, but this has become a terrible country. #art #healthcare #hypercapitalism
Thus to introduce a viable alternative economic model that aligns with human and planetary needs, we should first of all design a system that helps reinforce virtues, offer technological support that reinforce the levels of humanity in all of us.

I just used the phrase "extractive enshittification" and yes, I'm fully aware -- as will be anyone who closely follows @pluralistic -- that "extractive enshittification" is redundant.
But the alliteration sounds good and people who aren't fully tuned up on the deep economic explanation of enshittification may find the adjective helpful.
