In this study, St. Clair et al. explored how mothers & children sync up during collaboration. Using the Brite, they measured brain synchrony between 4- to 6-year-olds and their mothers during problem-solving tasks.

The study revealed stronger HbO₂ & HHb coherence in joint tasks vs. solo ones —linking neural synchrony with better collaboration performance.

🧠 #fNIRS hyperscanning is increasingly used for larger group studies.🧠 Pick et al. performed a #hyperscanning study to assess inter-brain synchrony & examine the influence of group dynamics on creativity. The Brite was applied prefrontal on 4 subjects simultaneously during a creativity-focused task. Findings demonstrated induction of inter-brain coupling and negative or positive prediction of creativity in areas related to flexibility & herding.
