Not yet! After digging into both #IDWeek2023 and #IDWeek2024 tweets data, and crunching some numbers to compare user activity, it’s clear we haven’t lost our spark. Our ID community is still here, sharing knowledge and learning from each other’s experiences. Pretty cool to see how we’re keeping the conversation alive! Here’s hoping we can keep this momentum going and maybe even make it better!

This reminds me of my early days on med Twitter. I'm in particular reminded of an #IDWeek in San Fran in probably 2013, where I had the pleasure of IRL meeting @EliP, @marynmck, and @aetiology, at least a couple of whom were speaking on a panel on science communication or journalism or social media...? I think that might have been the same year I met @Dan_Uslan as well. Nice to see them and others (all worthwhile med mastodon follows) here:-)
