Ein eher kurzes Spiel, vollgestopft mit bildlichen Metaphern, Philosophie und interessanten Beziehungen. Die Rätsel fühlen sich ein bisschen wie ein Lückenfüller an, damit das Spiel nicht ein abschätzendes "Walking Simulator" ertragen muss. Ich wünschte mir tatsächlich seltenerweise mal, dass das Spiel länger wäre und noch ein bisschen mehr sagen würde, aber letztendlich liegt es natürlich im Ermessen des Studios, über den Schlussstrich zu entscheiden. #gaming

【Yearly Wrap 2024】
I enjoyed writing my weekly game summary right up to the point Cohost died. Since then I've struggled to find a venue for the writing, and I now find it to be a massive chore.
However this has allowed me to recall the games I enjoyed over the year more easily than in the previous years.
I'll probably do it again next year in a revised lower-effort format.

CAVES OF QUD
Simply the best roguelike[1] ever made. More complicatedly it is also some of the greatest sci-fi writing and world-building in video games, and some of the best blending of procedural-generated content with hand-authored material.

Started playing #INDIKA on the recommendation of https://aftermath.site and the game so far has delivered.
The puzzles are occasionally confusing after having my brain smoothed over by Tomb Raider and Horizon putting bright paint on points of interest, but nothing that a minute of looking around doesn't solve. The religious aspect is ever present but doesn't become overbearing, and there is a bit of Stanley Parable-esque banter that breaks up the dialogue nicely.
Me quedé atascado en el capítulo 4 de #POOLS. He mirado en el foro de #Steam y no he sido el único. No entendí las "sutiles señales" que me daba el juego; especialmente con la vibración del mando al ir explorando.
Voy por penúltimo capítulo. El juego es lo que se describe y está bien. Se hace agobiante y cada vez se me pone más surrealista. Me está gustando más que el mojón de #INDIKA. Por el 20% de descuento actual vale la pena. Si no es tu estilo, pasa de él o espera un descuento más grande.
