@freiburg heute findet am #schauinsland das #einzelbergzeitfahren #schauinslandkönig statt. Es werden viele Starter in verschiedenen Kategorien erwartet: #ottonormal, #tandem, #handbike, #inlineskates, #skiroller, #klapprad, #Kinderanhänger (so aus dem Kopf)

Nach dem #Holbeinpferd gibt es einen Hochbordweg, der als gemeinsamer Fuß- und #Radweg ausgeschildert ist. In zwei Richtungen - spärlich zwar und per Rad nicht sicher erreichbar, aber legal in beide Richtungen nutzbar.

Ob es da - ob der erwarteten Vielzahl an Rädern & Co., so schlau ist, den Wegbzur Hälfte mit einem Schild zuzustellen?? :blob_gnikniht:

The skates where a great idea! Spend 1,5 hour on them today.

It takes some getting used to, but I picked it back up again quite quick. Still. I need a bit more practice till I'm going full speed feet over feet around the corners and making instant stops again. Luckily, it's calm here 😅.

Also, I had so many pretty pictures of the countryside, the sheeps, the goats, pony's, and more. But I'm only allowed to post 4 at a time 🥹.

Gerade meine #inlineskates gereinigt. Wollt auch gleich die Rollen drehen, da ich Donnerstag jemandem zeigen möchte wie es geht, der noch nie auf Skates stand.

Mängelliste:
Schiene vorne beidseitig verzogen
Kugellager komplett dicht (wunder das die noch rollten)
Alle rollen Viertel weggefahren (also alle drehen)
Spacer alle massiv verdreckt.
Achsen, tja, am linken Schuh war keine mehr fest.
Alle Achsen leicht gebogen. (Neue werden es werden müssen)

Sonst sind die Skates aber in Ordnung...

Now that new skate boots are in hand, do I raid older skates for frames, wheels and bearings?

Gee. There are the frames that I bought (checks watch) 4 years ago and have never used. A set of matching 110mm wheels still in the shrink wrap that, um, were part of the same purchase? Ah, the bearings may be never used but are only a few months old.

Let's cross our fingers that continued humidity in the forecast doesn't mean more rain Thursday evening.
