Interesting Browser Stats

I only started running statistic gathering software on this blog on the 13th of last month after I converted it to WordPress. Before that I relied on the stats provided by my site host, but to be honest their system leave a lot to be desired. While the results are accurate I can only browse the top 30 entries in any category, so if you have 100 referrers you can only see the 30 that sent you the most, and I’m interested in knowing everything that goes on in my site.

Well, let me get to the point of this article, between the 13th and 31st of October, there were 10,535 individual users who were mad enough to indulge in my select brand of weirdness. First off let me say thank you to all you people for cruising through my paranoia. Secondly, and this is something that I consider seriously cool, let me say “Wazzaaaup” to the 3082 of you who weren’t using Internet Exploder. Of that 3082, 2046 of you guys were using Firefox in it’s various stages of production.

One question I must ask however is what is the person who was using Netscape 3 and the one who was using IE4 thinking? You know who you are!! Upgrade people!!! 🙂

According to my rough calculations 29.25 percent of you guys are not using IE, which gives Microsoft a 69.75 percent market share on the browser market. Comparing that to the month of June 2004 when 86.4 percent of the visitors to this blog were using Exploder and you can see a dramatic turn around after happening.

Now, what I want to see is what Microsoft are going to do to win back the market?

Michael MJD Shows Off Nintendo Promotional Web Browsers
The Internet was really turning into a big thing in the early 2000s, and a lot of companies hopped onto it to hawk their products. Nintendo was a little more standoffish about it than Sega, remember that the Sega Dreamcast had a b

Ah, the using to snoop! 🕵️‍♂️ Because nothing screams "national security threat" like a furious avian projectile 🐦💥. Good thing IE 11 is out, because the browser's biggest vulnerability was probably just trying to open this mess of an article. 😂🔍

"What was the Internet like in 1995" est un bon post pour le découvrir cybercultural.com/p/internet-1
