Watched In the Lost Lands.

Wow, that was bad. No wonder I'd seen trailers in the cinema yet it suddenly ended up on Netflix instead.

Cheesy as hell, blindingly over-produced, dull as dishwasher storytelling, and acting that felt like even Jovovich and Bautista were desperate for it to end.

It's recently been shown that an #infinite amount of monkeys with a typewriter would never be able to write #Hamlet
However I can confidently say that one #monkey with a four pack of Stella and box of crayons did in fact write the screenplay for #InTheLostLands

What a #turkey

Saw the new Paul WS Anderson flick In The Lost Lands and fell asleep during the big climax. Which is a perfect encapsulation of the movie.

I also saw Opus the new thriller from A24 and it was a fun watch, but I don't think essential. If you like what A24 does and want to see John Malkovich knock it out of the park as a multi decade weirdo pop star then check it out.

I saw #InTheLostLands last night. The plot is a bit thin, stretched from a GRRRRR Martin short story. I liked it visually and I thought the two leads did well with the material. The sound has the compression problem too typical of movies with wide dynamic range. Overall I enjoyed it much more than reviews would lead you to expect.
