Got down to 5°C last night here north of Auckland. My Irish Setter is so true to his breed - he wanted to sleep outside last night. The Setter I had growing up loved to stand on top of his dog house in the snow and even in the coldest weather didn’t want to stay inside much. My boy now still loves to sleep in a sunny spot in the house, as he is doing right now, but he is really happy sleeping outside at night. Unless it is raining. Crazy boy doesn’t even like to go out to go bathroom in the rain - but if I take him out for a run in the paddock in the rain he’s all over it.
