Loch Tuath
(Scottish Gaelic: Loch-a-Tuath) is a sea loch in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland that separates the isle of Mull and the island of Ulva. Loch Tuath forms part of the Loch na Keal National Scenic Area, one of the forty national scenic areas in Scotland, which are defined so as to identify areas of exceptional scenery and to ensure its protection from inappropriate development.

A nervous-looking Ross of Mull granite boulder near Fionnphort this morning 😒

Boulders like this were left when this bit of west Mull was deglaciated about 17.5 thousand years ago.

A large rounded granite boulder, with a mouth-like crack near the base sits on a boggy ground with brown moorland behind, and a blue sea and sky. Googly eyes have been added to give the boulder a shifty or nervous appearance.

#FensterFreitag The window and walls of Mrs Walls house between Fidden and Pottie in the Ross of Mull. Many visitors imagine that these houses have been empty since the C19th clearances, but this house, and many other like it, were lived in until the 1960s or even later. I've been told that Mrs Walls kept her house famously neat and tidy, and had a lot of beautiful china. #IsleOfMull #TaighDubh #DihaoineNaHUinneige
