With the caveat that, of course, there are _some_ uses of the Web that by their nature need to be protected (e.g. encrypted journalist communications, a message board for vulnerable minorities), but Instagram is not that.

My #screensaver is #xscreensaver. I just noticed that one of the hacks on it now is called #Covid19. One of the settings for it is Government Response which ranges from #Taiwan to the #UnitedStates. That’s a hell of a sense of humour that #JamieZawinski has, whose description on the man page is, “SARS-CoV-2. Stay the fuck home. Wear a fucking mask.”
