Is Surf City a lesbian resort? (This would conflict with the lyric "all you've got to do is just wink your eye," which would suggest the women are interested in the male singers.) Were all of the boys left to die as infants, due to girls being more valued in their culture? Is there something in the water that changes your gender? Are male tourists harvested for their organs?
