I was attending a colleague's wedding party, when I saw this beautiful sailboat gliding across the water. I quickly excused myself and walked over to this jetty, which was not far from the place where the party was. Luckily, nobody was on the jetty when the boat glided through the centre of my frame. Right after I got this shot, a couple passed me and walked into this view. It all came together at the right moment.

This is a black and white landscape format image of a jetty pointing out across a lake. The viewer looks straight down the jetty into the centre of the image. In the distance mountains are shrouded in clouds. The water of the lake reflects the mountains and the clouds. Taken in the Lake District with a Sony RX100.

Bringing the week to a close with another #epicsunset for good measure. Taken at Sunset Beach in Treasure Island, FL before back to back blows from Hurricanes Helene and Milton devastated the area. Those people in the foreground looking towards the sunset added a nice element, so I decided not to brush them out in post. Taken w/#fujixt3 and #fuji1680mmf4 lens.
