The Great Wave - a 1000 piece jigsaw of a famous painting by Hokusai. The image consists of a stylised wave and another one in front of it. There are three yellow boats in the waves - each one containing a literal skeleton crew. In the background is a rendition of Mount Fuji. There are some Japanese characters in the upper left corner. The sky and background is a kind of dark and fading to lighter beige colour, with some sea spray on it.

Sorry the box is sideways!. This is a 1000 piece puzzle with no picture. There is a little story included which you can read to work out what the puzzle should look like. It has a superfluous piece, shown here beside the box.

Did a cute 500 piece #JigsawPuzzle the other day. I usually only do 1000 piece puzzles because I have a stubborn idea about wanting to maximize my enjoyment per dollar spent, but this was delightful. Meowdy, pawdner!

@Gaolaitch That looks very challenging. I’ve just completed this one. The coins weren’t bad, but the wine border with its subtle colours was very challenging indeed. It came with an extra piece also! I wrote ‘duplicate piece’ on the back of the extra. #jigsawpuzzle DM me if interested in a swop.

This puzzle was a bit of a slog. A couple of years ago, I would have given up on it, but I am more patient these days.

It’s made by Flame Tree, which is not one of your high quality puzzle companies: there is not enough variation in piece shape (every internal piece has the same basic shape of two innies opposite one another and two outies opposite one another) and it’s less robust than I’d like. Normally I would steer clear of Flame Tree, but the painting is a good one, and it was helpful that the blue continuously varies across the painting.

Willing to trade it for a different one if you’re interested, though I’ve no doubt put you off.

Each is 1,000 pieces. The great wave was very difficult indeed. Only the yellow boats with the skulls in them were relatively easy.
The second one is a murder mystery one, with no picture. So I don’t want to spoil it by showing you the completed puzzle. The puzzle bears no relation to the pix on the lid of the box shown. There is a story book with it, which gives you clues and may assist in assembling it.
I actually found it much easier than The Great Wave.

There is a great towering stylised on the left of the picture, with a smaller one in front of it. Mount Fuji appears to be in the background to the lower right. On these stormy seas there are there are three long yellow wooden boats, each with a crew of several skulls.

Box for a Murder Mystery puzzle of 1000 pieces. The lid of the box shows the Deerstalker cap, glasses and pipe which are icons of Sherlock Homes, the Detective. The box includes a short story which you can solve to make the jigsaw if you wish. There is no picture for the jigsaw, so you make it ‘blind’ or gain some clues from the story.

I finished the Sonic puzzle today and I had so much fun doing it, even if the pixel art was a bit confusing at times. Definitely one of the more fun puzzles I did.

I sorted the Sonic :SonicRunning: puzzle last night for relaxing after I got home. This will be a fun one (I still have a 1000 piece puzzle laid out upstairs, but I really want to do this first, lol).
