Thinking that John Candy documentary is kind of Xmas, so that's going in the Box....
Although we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Northern Europe, I like to wish #BonAppetit to all shower curtain ring salesmen who got invited for dinner somewhere.
@thekitmalone as a Canadian, this is really the only reason I have to "celebrate" American Thanksgiving, and it is a great reason. #johncandy :)
On this day in 1987, the holiday classic Planes, Trains and Automobiles was released in theatres.
I must admit, I welled up a bit at the end of the #JohnCandy documentary, ‘I Like Me’.
He and many of the others featured in it were my youth, but the world is diminished without him. A genuine, down to earth soul.
Now I have an urge to watch Uncle Buck again.
