nine pallet boards glued side to side held tightly in place with two very large clamps across the width and a 2x4 held down with two smaller but sturdy clamps, all on my little workbench. A vise sits as a weight atop one board in particular that really kinda wants to come up.

Self-indulgent Sonic/Zelda sketch based on that fanfic I read and recced earlier this week.

I first discovered the ship by reading a very cracky, very NSFW SonZelda fic when I was looking for fics that had both Sonic and Elise tagged (OG gamer girlfriend I ship him with. I know there are 40 fics under the tag, but most of them are fluff or angst, and I wanted a change).

But after reading that I got curious about the ship, read an absolute banger of a fanfic...the only other SonZelda fic on AO3...now I'm scraping the barrel on FF.net and filtering for Smash Bros fics on AO3 tagged with both Sonic and Zelda with the hopes that they briefly acknowledge each others' existence. Help?!)

I'm not questioning the results of the election. My candidate was blown out in what was a competitive race 2 years ago. I don't think they campaigned much despite being a returning candidate with notable organic community support.

Rather, I'm trying to complete some analysis to better strategize for 2026, if enough of our democracy survives until then.
