#KLWNBUG #PlanningApplication #2400608O outline for 5 flats in South Lynn approved because apparently making everyone do 3 sides of a rectangle, incl 2 on roads without pavements, to access shops is acceptable if it's a small distance and National Planning Policy Framework paragraph 117 "give priority first to pedestrian and cycle movements, both within the scheme and with neighbouring areas; and [...] minimise the scope for conflicts between pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles" can get stuffed!

Earliest photo on this device is from a protest trying to keep part of #NCN1 in #kingsLynn closed to private motorists (the bollards are now disused but numberplate cameras are installed instead, so win! For now...). Most recent is riding home through #theWalks in winter sunshine, just before I unexpectedly met a friend from #KLWNBUG coming the other way after his longest ride in years, to the next town south and back.

The #Norfolk Parking Standards require the #cycleparking racks to be nearer the door than regular car spaces, not dumped on the far side by a substation, and for foot/cycle access to have priority over cars. I'll ask #KLWNBUG to remind them.
