While I like using @kagihq, I wonder a bit about the underlying mechanics.

Initially, my impression was that they had their own search index. I implemented SEO on my project, Recordfy, and now I see my results on Google. I can also see in the logs how the Google crawler moves through the sitemap entries.

Now, all of a sudden, my search entries appear on Kagi as well. So, are they just an aggregator like @duckduckgo?

Orion has been a great browser. Developers are nice, friendly and helpful.

Never thought I'd pay a subscription for a browser or a search engine..but when it removes all the 'junk' that google has...its kind of nice.
