Well itâs past 9:45 pm, the NOTAM has expired (and is now gone), but liveatc.net radio chatter seems to indicate that there is still no tower personnel at BUR.
Hollywood Burbank Airport tower is now unstaffed, because of the federal government shutdown.
The text below states:
BUR service tower closed. Tower frequency 118.7 MHz now CTAF (Common Traffic Advisoryâaircraft must talk to each other). Class C service available, contact SoCal approach for Class C visual departure and instrument clearance delivery at (phone number). Valid from Oct 25 6:15 pm to 9:45 pm.
I expect another NOTAM to be issued before 9:45 if the closure remains.

I have a bad feeling that Trump is going to pull the rug under this Palestine-Israel deal, because thatâs what he *always* does.
