An unexpected perk of my new #Kallax bookcase: #Blåhaj now joins me for online meetings!

5x5 black IKEA Kallax cupboard. The bottom two rows are filled with inserts forming a trans flag: light blue, pink, white, pink, light blue. The bottom row is cabinet doors except for the center element, which is a cat cubby with an opening in the shape of a cat head. The second row from the bottom is filled with drawer elements with two drawers each. One cubby contains my router, cobbled together NAS consisting of a Raspberry Pi and two USB HDDs as well as my iPad that is charging. On the top row there are books, leftist books on the left, game related books on the right, and at the top in the center is a little shrine to my dearly departed aunts with two candles. Second row from the top is filled with boardgames. On top of the cupboard is a stack of games that are too big to fit in a cubby, a spider plant, a go board, a large Blåhaj, a Donatello plushie that I'm fostering until my kiddo can pick him up, and a MiniPud. There's a lot more to describe but this is already lengthy enough. 😁

Zwei IKEA Kallax-2x2-Regale aufeinander. Oben ist ein klassisches 16" Brompton gefaltet darin. Unten passt ein gefaltetes Brompton G-Line so grade nicht hinein. Beide Räder sind orange, das obere Kallax ist weiß, das untere schwarz.

5x5 Kallax Regal. Zeile 3, Spalten 2 und 4 haben nun eine Tür, so dass der Inhalt nicht mehr zu sehen ist. Die meisten anderen Fächer sind voll mit Brettspielen. Ausnahmen: Zeile 1 (oben) Spalte 1 (links) enthält die Ayreon Metallbox von The Human Equation, leicht schräg und aufrecht stehend. In 1x2 sitz John Mastodon, mein gelbes Mastodon Maskottchen. 3x3: Hochkant stehend eine Sammlung von Limited Editions von Alben, die in Schallplatten-großen Büchern veröffentlicht wurden. In 5x1 steht eine Box - wer's erkennt, weiß dass es sich m die Limited Edition von Wasteland 3 handelt. In 5x5 steht aufrecht, und das gesamte Fach belegend, die "The Incident" Limited Edition Box von Porcupine Tree.

Sort of finished my #Kallax'es. Two compartments that are sort of in the middle of the left one will get a door each, that I've ordered, because I want to hide a bunch of small games and other game related stuff in those. Top left two spaces will hold #AwakenRealms' #NemesisRetaliation once it gets here.

On top of the near, shorter shelf, there's a Lego Ferrari and a Lego plant. On top of the taller shelf, all the way in the back and in the corner, there's a game box of "City Of Angels" boardgame. Behind the taller shelf on the left and further back, green lights shine through from behind the shelf. I'm happy with the result.

Sure, let's just quickly remove the #boardgames from the #Kallax to clean out the shelves 🙄

I haven't finished installing the new Kallax, plus there's a new boardgame scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, so I'm leaving this for today.

Finishing the Kallax requires drilling a few holes, and I don't want to do that on a Sunday.

Das Volumen einer Brettspiel-Sammlung steigt in Laufe der Zeit immer auf mindestens 105% der Kapazität eines Kallax an. Ist 'n Naturgesetz, ergibt sich aus Thermodynamik und Entropie.

@sico93: Mit grenznaher Satteleinstellung und etwas sanfter Gewalt passt das #BromptonGLine nur schräg und so leidlich ins IKEA #Kallax 2x2. Beide Reifen und ggf. die rechte Pedale stoßen an die Seitenwände, der Sattel an die Decke. Ggf. geht's mit geringerem Reifendruck besser. Bei mir sind 3 Bar drin. Und, in den Bildern schlecht zu sehen, der Lenker schaut hinten heraus. Mein unteres Kallax steht wegen einer Fußleiste nicht ganz an der Wand, der Lenker berührt die Wand aber.

Finally, #NewBikeDay for real! Today I fetched my new 20" #Brompton Electric #GLine at #Velofix (and left my so far daily driver, a 16" H6RD, there for a set of new rims, so today was no trailer needed).

I brought a leftover mount for my Garmin GPS and the #EerderMetaal #SeatPostHugger so that I could mount my GPS and my standard (non-electric) Brompton bag on the #ElectricGLine despite the different front block.

Rides great!
