#KarateKidLegends verspricht Legendenstatus - zumindest über seine Protagonisten. Innerhalb des Gefüges bisheriger #Filme der Reihe und der #CobraKai-Serienauskopplung, wundern Patrick und Daniel sich doch sehr, wer außer Ralph Macchios Originalcharakter hier eine wahre Legende sein soll.
Ansonsten ist dieses Sequel allerdings auch weit von legendär entfernt:

Always good to see #MingNaWen, though I wish she'd been given a bit more screen time, but I get it. I miss her kick-ass persona from #AgentsOfShield.

I did not know that #JoshuaJackson was in this, so it was nice to see him when I've gotten used to seeing him in #DrOdyssey. And I recognized #SadieStanley from the second season of #CruelSummer , and she was really good in that. 2/3
I saw #KarateKidLegends yesterday, and while it was a little bumpy, I enjoyed the film, even with the bits of fan service. The story didn't go quite where I expected in the first half, but I guess they needed a reason for the rest of the story.
The story is a bit splintered in parts, but it's the performances that make the film worth watching.
I really like #BenWang, who I enjoyed watching in #AmericanBornChinese , and he's very likable and engaging in this role. #KarateKid 1/3
