I made the most #punk #food ever: "#PinkCurry"! 🍛
Why?: Cuz fuck rules… That's why!
- Yes, it is a #curry made with #RedCabbage that turns the broth #pink when boiled in a slightly sour-salty solution and creamed with #Coconut #milk.
This variant isn't #vegan or #vegetarian due to use of Thai Fish Sauce, Oyster Sauce and minced meat (and I didn't have tofu at home) but I am convinced it would work the same way - propably only needing more black chinese vinegar, soy sauce and fried tofu crumbles...
- Given we're neck-deep in the #CabbageSeason in #Germany, I'm shure a lot of you #FoodHackers out there will at least consider something similar, cuz a big-ass #cabbage is cheap and in a 5l pot one can put like two of those (minced as coarse of fine as you like) and have a shitton of cheap food that tastes good and is #comfy af in the "cold and wet season"…
And yes, that colour is solely from the red cabbage, which is more purple than red, and no fruit juice.
- So whilst it looks like some #KiBa (#Cherry + #Banana nectar) or #Strawberry #Milkshake it's not!
