In an effort to help with funding for flood recovery, I am selling this hand-made wooly lace shawl!

Pattern is Ashton shawl by Dee O'Keefe.* Added another leaf motif row before doing the border. Measures a general 60 by 30 inches.

100% wool, so it will be itchy to some folks. Yarn is KnitPicks Palette Fingering held double. Unknown color because I found the yarn at a local Goodwill years ago, but it is a nice neutral brown

I am selling this lovely thing for US$500, starting price. All proceeds for this will go towards my flood recovery, namely buying myself a bed.

🧶🐔🧶🐔🧶 Another Emotional Support Chicken!

Using scrap yarn, this is 1st one I've made of wool (v. acrylic). I must say it's a much more pleasant knitting experience - 2 strands fingering held together on US2 needles, so very tight, but wool gives some spring.

Still, my upper arms and shoulders hurt! It's OK, I'm knitting off anxiety, and it's a workout my muscles need.

Lesson learned. The colorwork is too tight and disappears when worn, yes I increased needle size, knit inside out and blocked it.
Now what? Make the second one with motifs or not?

🧶🧶🧶 OohLaLa! Did my 1st ever Italian bind off!

Avoided it, ever since I started knitting again. The whole knit then purl skip stitch then purl the knit but leave on needle then go between then whaaat? All with a tapestry needle.

Proud to say a. I did it, and b. It really does look good. I love the way there is basically no edge, stitches just disappear into the air. Hmm, might be my new go-to.
