Yesterday was definitely Friday the 13th for me. Nothing catastrophic, but the day was punctuated by gremlins.

Since I survived them all, I decided to treat myself to a new knife.

I LOVE a good knife that fits my hand (difficult as I don't have man hands).

I don't think I mentioned this before, but the #Vermont legislature recently passed S.109, which amends 13 V.S.A. § 4013 to repeal the illegality of switchblade #knives and directs the state to expunge all prior convictions under the repealed statue. This is a good thing, as the law was irrational, inconsistent with other Vermont statutes, and unconstitutional. Governor Scott is expected to sign the bill, which will go into effect July 1, 2025. #rtkba #VTpol

The new #Olfa XB26 blades arrived today, and they are very clearly not the same shape as the old blades, which you can see I purchased many years ago at My Room USA Inc. (Edgewater, NJ, next to Mitsuwa Marketplace), for $3.00 USD.

Oddly, the illustration inside the old package is the new shape, yet these blades are at least 20 years old. #tools #knives
