Does anyone still put a Konami Code on their Web projects? I'm introducing our juniors to the concept.

Watching a (non-glitched) #speedrun of a hard #NES game is a great way to improve your own ability to play the game. I thought #Contra was beyond my capability to beat, until I watched a single speed run. After watching it, I was able to beat the game on the next try (using the #KonamiCode to get 30 lives) with plenty of lives to spare. After that I stopped using the code and just played with 3 lives. After a few tries, I beat it with 3 lives. This all happened over the course of a few hours.

I somehow feel that AIs should be forbidden from entering the Konami code, their job is to do stuff in hard mode. I wonder why Asimov did not think of that. #konamicode #3lawsofrobotics

New version of The Dream Code released. This is a joke script based on a series of inputs which can be used after beating the #Famicom game Erika to Satoru no Yume Bōken and it is intended to be used in a similar way to how some websites use the #KonamiCode for Easter eggs. Version 2.0.0's primary change is removing the #jQuery dependency.

Снова #edc врывается в ленту. Сегодня любуемся на Sanrenmu 4115G - наключник настоящего олдгеймера и фаната мультитулов (то есть меня). Из инструментов у нас есть плоская отвёртка, годный стропорез, открывалка, лезвие и #konamicode. Из минусов - механика, как и на схожих советских мультитулах,, не позволяет одновременно открыть оба инструмента, блокируя на прямом угле друг друга. Бесполезный, но очень стильный и качественный брелок (как я люблю)

Ich hab’s inzwischen rausgefunden: Mein Geschirrspüler hat das Bedürfnis nach innerer Reinigung gespürt.

Mittels #KonamiCode konnte ich das entsprechende Programm dann starten und der Wurfstern ist weggeflogen.
