Athens, Greece: Commando Attack on the OPKE Team at Strefi Hill in Exarcheia

Athens, Greece: Claim for the commando attack on the OPKE team at Strefi Hill in Exarcheia on 1/11/2025

<<MIND THE STAIRS>>

A year and a day after comrade and armed anarchist fighter Kyriakos Xymitiris was killed in an apartment on Arcadia Street, following a premature bomb explosion, he was destined to remind everyone that social peace is nothing more than empty words in an empty space.

Along with the explosion, a promise was made. That the comrade would not be forgotten. The comrade has not been forgotten. His name became a slogan on the lips of thousands. Then it adorned walls, was written in texts and was the subject of events. However, it was not long before this name became a signature. The name of the fallen anarchist guerrilla Kyriakos ceased to belong exclusively to him. Conspirators met and nuclei were formed with his name. Commandos slipped away in the night and in the shadows in order to give light and noise to the quiet monotony of the metropolis. Going along this path, we decided to carry out a raid on the cops who have taken up camp on Strefi Hill.

We struck in broad daylight, reminding the uniformed bastards that they will never be in peace amid us even for a moment. In recent years, there has been an effort to turn the Exarcheia neighbourhood into a well-guarded alternative resort, where tourists enjoy the aesthetics of the “subculture” and the unconventional character of the neighbourhood without actually contributing in the slightest to the Cause and the goals for which we are fighting. Seeing what is happening before our eyes, we choose not to stand by as observers. We choose direct action, militantly defending our projects and ideas in the here and now. The Exarcheia you dream of will turn into your worst nightmares.

PS: We were saddened about the absence of the riot police as we really wanted to see them running after what happened the previous night, during the memorial march and more generally in the neighbourhood. On the other hand, their colleagues from the OPKE (Special Police Teams for Crime Prevention and Suppression) team proved to be satisfactorily efficient in the game of hide and seek.

PS2: We also dedicate this action to comrade Christos Spilios, who died recently, but will always be in our struggles.

HONOUR FOREVER TO THE ANARCHIST GUERRILLA KYRIAKOS XIMITIRIS.

Greece: Cop Car Set on Fire for Comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris

Responding to the call of our imprisoned comrades Mariana M. and Dimitra Z. for an October of remembrance and insurrectionary struggle, on the evening of October 28th we set fire to a policeman’s vehicle on Xenophontos Street in the Agios Dimitrios area, an action entirely dedicated to comrade anarchist armed revolutionary Kyriakos Xymitiris.

Every person who commits himself to continuous direct action against the state and power is not part of the struggle but is the struggle itself. The stubbornness and courage to face the “invincible”, the defiance of established state and personal repressions and subsequently the fear that they cause, are vital characteristics of liberation from all kinds of imposition.

And that is why whoever dies in revolutionary/insurgent actions dies free.

So we salute our comrade, conspiratorially winking at the struggle itself

Nothing ends, beyond their peaceful sleep on the nights when we visit their homes.

HONOR TO THOSE WHO MADE THE FEAR OF DEATH THE VERVE OF LIFE

Arson of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food in Athens, Greece

About the arson of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food

EU agricultural subsidies as a tool of capitalist restructuring.
Like every ministry, the Ministry of Rural Development is a mechanism of class domination. Class domination for Greek capitalism in the sector of primary production practically means:

-Privatization of the largest and most fertile part of the agricultural land – and securing through it enormous profits – by a tiny minority of modern landowners closely linked to domestic and international agribusiness monopolies. It is indicative that today 90% of all agricultural land belongs to just 15% of wealthy rich large farmers.

• Eradication of the poor peasantry (from 900,000 in 2005 to 500,000 in 2025) and continuous pressure on their already meager income, through the sharp increase in production costs, the increase in insurance contributions and taxation, the humiliating selling prices of products to wholesalers, the drastic reduction in expenses for compensation for floods, fires, diseases, the suffocation from predatory lending by banks.

• The creation of a multiple, undervalued, multinational workforce of land workers, which, in certain sectors of agricultural production, now constitutes the main subject of extracting surplus value and profit from the owners of agricultural land.

• A specific production structure, subject to the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), which serves the needs of the large agribusiness monopolies of the EU and domestic business groups and which results in the significant contraction of agricultural production and the transformation of the country from an exporter of agricultural products to an importer, the high precision of the products and their low quality, the desertification of the countryside and the causing of serious ecological imbalances. As for the last point, revealing the content of the CAP is the so-called “green contract”, which finances the implementation of supposedly ecological policies, sectoral politicians with a history of environmentally destructive actions, such as the Dutch monopoly that undertook the restoration following the disasters in Thessaly Region from the Daniel floods with the well-known devastating results.

In reality, almost a century after the fraudulent agrarian reforms of the interwar period with which the then landlordist government attempted to rein in the rebellious poor farmers of the time (in vain, however, as their massive participation in the guerrilla war of the 1940s demonstrated a few years later), Greek capitalism is attempting to solve the permanently unresolved “agrarian issue” the only way it historically can. That is, by destroying the poor peasantry and the natural environment in which they live.

The main lever for implementing the capitalist strategy for the eradication of the poor peasantry has been, over time, through the CAP and the Recovery Fund, the system of European Agricultural Subsidies.

Contrary to what bourgeois propaganda claims, the relentless reality experienced by the rural world confirms that these subsidies are a tool for transferring wealth from the bottom up, that they are the epitome of the structural restructurings that capital wants to impose on agricultural production.

Thus, EU subsidies scandalously strengthen large agribusiness capital and the large farmers associated with it, since 85% of the subsidies go there, while the remaining 15% is distributed according to arbitrary criteria to the great mass of poor peasantry, essentially in order to sell their raw materials cheaply to capital, which of course will then distribute them through wholesalers at high prices in the markets.

And of course, all this enormous transfer of wealth is not done through some magical community resources, precisely because these famous community resources are nothing other than the sweat and blood of the working people, which has been embezzled by the Greek state through tax evasion, to be given as a contractual obligation to the EU in accordance with the ” European baggage”.
Essentially, subsidies finance the dispossession and further impoverishment of the poor farmers, even with their own money.
It is within this framework that the so-called scandal of OPEKEPE, the Hellenic Organization for Payments and Control of Community Aids, Guidance and Guarantees, must be understood. That is, not as a deviation from an otherwise sound and socially beneficial subsidy system, but as an inevitable symptom of this system.

Just as corruption as a whole in capitalism is not an exogenous feature but a structural characteristic, inherent, so to speak, to the function based on the legal robbery of the producers of social wealth.

In this sense, OPEKEPE, as a basic state tool for the distribution of EU subsidies, cannot but have corruption as its constituent element.
The intra-urban competition for the sharing of the spoils of subsidies created – beyond the formal legal framework – a field of financial transactions with the political administrators of the Ministry of Rural Development and OPEKEPE, while these administrators, having perceived public property as their own property over time, did not hesitate to shamelessly steal it, collecting huge amounts of subsidies for themselves and their wider political and social circle through fabricated or non-existent elements.

The notorious “Frapes”, “Butchers”, K. Semertzidou (the farmer with the Ferrari), were not simple state officials or some sophisticated swindlers. They were the chosen ones of the government and agribusiness capital, the chosen ones of Mitsotakis and Voridis, the chosen ones of the big merchants who supply the supermarkets, the dairies, the meat industry. They were the right people in the right position.

“Frapes” had been appointed by the fascist Minister for Rural Development M. Voridis to the Board of Directors of the “Hellenic Society for Local Development”, while together with “Hasapis” they had also been appointed to the Board of Directors of the “Panhellenic Association of Greek Livestock”. And of course they had close relations with Deputy Minister Avgenakis and were personally acquainted with the Prime Minister. As for K. Semertzidou, she was a politician of New Democracy and coordinator of the crucial sector concerning the management of “community resources”.

There is therefore no doubt that the vast network of theft of public wealth through OPEKEPE was set up with a central order from the government through the Minister for Rural Development. Beyond the satisfaction of business interests and the enrichment of others, the goal was also to establish – through the income that this theft ensured and the purchase of consciences that it could bring – a strong social coalition of power within the rural world.

This is how the bourgeoisie and its political staff have always structured their necessary social alliances: through the gradual sharing of a small part of the loot they steal from the people. From the era of agrarian reforms in the interwar period to the Marshall Plan and the modern “European Support Frameworks”.
And of course, on this basis the so-called “national core” was built, that repulsive social base of the bourgeoisie, which included “honest Mrs. Pantelides”, respectable citizens, from housewives to priests, cops, judges, army bosses, junta members.

While the revelations about the OPEKEPE scandal are running, demonstrating the organic relationship of the government and the state with its main protagonists, with the mass-labor movement, with the world of land toil, of the struggle for existence, it is imperative to highlight the real, class essence of the scandal. Because no European Prosecutor’s Office and certainly no judicial authority or Investigative Committee in Parliament aims to shed light on the case, much less render some kind of justice, on the contrary, as the Tempi case demonstrated, it aims to conceal and disorient.

Especially with regard to the European judicial authorities, which are presented by various quarters as the epitome of credibility and independence, let us not forget that their mobilization began when the corruption of subsidies reached such a degree that it threatened the smooth flow of predatory subsidies, as well as that their only concern is the return to the otherwise benign framework of plundering the poor peasantry and nature.

With the working people experiencing a historic climax of the attack against them and bourgeois power shielding itself by generalizing state terrorism, while giving land and water to the imperialist allies of the USA, EU, Israel, the widespread demand for People’s Justice, as it emerged from the smoke of the conflicts of the magnificent Tempi movement, must put its signature on the critical developments that are opening up before us. To constitute a meeting point and rallying point for the proletarian – popular masses, the vanguard of a modern revolutionary proposal with the horizon of the liberation of labor and land from the shackles of the state, capital, and imperialism.

Dedicated to Kyriakos Xymitiris in the context of the call for October as a month of revolutionary memory and action.

Solidarity with comrades Marianna Manoura and Dimitra Zarafeta and overall with the cause of Ampelokipi.

Greece: Attacks on Politician’s Office and Ford in Memory of Anarchist Kyriakos Xymitiris

“If I don’t burn

if you don’t burn

if we don’t burn

how will the darkness become light?”

Nazim Hikmet

365 days ago, our comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris gave light to the darkness, even if it was the light of his final explosion, at the end of a burning path.

Kyriakos was a resourceful and active anarchist fighter who participated in the entire spectrum of the struggle. From marches, interventions, microphones to clashes with the forces of repression. He was present on all fronts and thematic areas. He participated in solidarity assemblies for imprisoned activists, in anti-fascist coordination, in actions in favor of occupations, in solidarity with immigrants, against war and imperialism, in solidarity with the struggles of the Palestinians, in struggles against gentrification and patriarchy. And of course in direct revolutionary action and armed choice. A complex fighter who used every means with imagination where the conditions were proportional to each action. With humility, patience and a smile, Kyriakos was there to support any field he saw fit with the appropriate means. Until his final proud assault on the sky.

Direct action is the means to keep the revolutionary memory warm and alive. The insurgent culture and tradition is not just a slogan, nor the solution to every problem of the struggle. But it is the spark that brings to the here and now the flame and the baton of those who fell on the battlefield. It is the way to honor, remember and continue the work of those who gave their lives for the revolutionary perspective. In this way, a continuation of tradition occurs, we break fear, we take the initiative of movements and we highlight that no enemy is invulnerable, no goal is unattainable.

In an era of verbosity, Kyriakos Xymitiris chose to act.

In an era of inaction, Kyriakos chose to come forward.

In an era of “leave it for tomorrow”, Kyriakos chose to seize the Now.

Honoring our comrade, honoring his memory and his choices, we have chosen to incendiarily attack the following targets in recent days:

the political office of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and ND MP Ch. Theocharis in Agios Dimitrios.

the representative office of the American automobile manufacturer Ford in Polygono.

Solidarity with all comrades who are being prosecuted for the Ampelokipi case.

Greece: Attacks on Grocery Chain in Memory of Comrade Kyriakos Ximitiris

On the 14th and 21st of October we placed incendiary devices at the entrance of Jumbo, in Kolonos and Maroussi respectively. With these actions we want to target this particular chain of stores for its timeless role as a labor warehouse and its choice to expand in the genocidal state of Israel.

On 10/31/24, the anarchist armed fighter Kyriakos Xymitiris falls dead in an instant while processing explosives in the apartment on Arkadias Street, in Ampelokipi. In this moment of resistance and consistency, the thread of his life will forever be connected to the historical thread of the rebel city, thus continuing the struggle of the people who chose to give themselves completely to the revolutionary cause. At the same time, the anarchist comrade Marianna Manoura is seriously injured and is taken to G.N. Evangelism, where her vengeful treatment and torture begins. At the same time, the state narrative of a terrorist organization begins to be set up, leading to the arrest and pre-trial detention of comrade Dimitris and anarchist comrade Dimitras Zarafetta based on their connection to the apartment. Then, the same summary procedure is followed by the prosecution of the anarchist comrade Nikos Romanos and A.K., on the occasion of finding a fingerprint in a bag, that is, a movable object, found inside the house. We become spectators once again, in a rigged game of targeting anarchist identity and criminalizing comradely relationships where we are not going to remain uninvolved.

One year later we are here to declare that Kyriakos is present. Because he lives through every small or large moment of immediate action. Through every moment, a piece of violence is returned to the world of power. In these moments he is here. Next to us and smiling at us. Because that’s how we got to know him, in the strike rallies and anti-patriarchal marches, in the struggles for imprisoned comrades, in the open meetings for immigrant women and the anti-fascist actions, smiling and optimistic. He was present in every conflict, in every struggle against the gentrification of the Exarchia neighborhood, in the postering in defense of the occupiers, in every conspiratorial action to attack the mechanisms of repression, taking risks, with his eyes fixed on the goal.

After the call of the anarchist comrades Mariannas M. and Dimitras Z. for October as a month of remembrance and action for the anarchist revolutionary Kyriakos Ximitiris, we decided to respond and contribute in our own way to the preservation of his memory, and to the continuation of the struggle for the Palestinian cause, which he too would give. Signs of solidarity with the struggling Palestinian people and those who continue to fight for a world of solidarity, equality and freedom.

On the 14th and 21st of October we placed incendiary devices at the entrance of Jumbo, in Kolonos and Maroussi respectively. With these actions we want to target this particular chain of stores for its timeless role as a labor warehouse and its choice to expand in the genocidal state of Israel. This particular company is famous for intensive, flexible hours, for starvation wages, for violation of labor rights and non-payment of established benefits, for retaliatory dismissals and targeting of employees, as well as for work accidents. It is impossible, after all, to forget the “pioneering” proposal of Apostolos Vakakis, president of the Jumbo group, regarding seven-day work, reducing holidays and liberalizing the operation of stores. His recklessness, however, does not stop there, since he chooses, for the strategic development of the group, to cooperate with the Israeli company Fox Group and to open stores in Israel. Huge ultra-luxurious stores, which in some cases resemble golden castles, but which are not able to make you forget the atrocity that is being committed just beyond.

For years now, in Palestine, Israel has been murdering civilians, children, journalists every day, bombing, displacing, starving the population, destroying all infrastructure, schools, hospitals and trying in every way to annihilate them. The scenario of supposed truce and return to normality took less than a week to make its fluidity evident, with Israel again bombing camps on pretexts. After all, what kind of normalcy did the West intend for the Palestinians? A life under surveillance, in apartheid conditions, a life in fear. We, standing in solidarity with the struggle of the Palestinian insurgents, choose to target the Greek bosses who strengthen Israel, and seek profits at any cost. By holding them accountable, we put the cost on their backs. Because Palestine is a symbol of human dignity. Symbol of struggle.

Greece is not uninvolved. It supports the war politically, financially and morally. It participates by making available the Souda base and ports for the resupply of the Israeli war machine. It has made sure to turn the islands into tourist resorts for the I.D.F. soldiers, to even spring up in every corner and an Israeli investment (rbnb, parking, restaurants, hotels, real estate offices) and to conclude energy agreements for pipelines with Cyprus and Israel.

The removal of the acquired 8 hours and the imposition of 13 hours, the new laws concerning the educational restructuring in universities with the disciplinary measures for students, the increasingly blatantly racist immigration laws and the new criminal code with the tightening and vindictiveness of punishments, is a proof that the state is arming itself. At the same time, it is equipped not only legislatively, but also logistically. The state is proceeding with the installation of security cameras in streets and universities, the establishment of new security forces and the purchase of military equipment systems. All this is happening at a time when it is in a desperate position of trying to cover up the crimes and scandals of the previous period (Tempe, Pylos, OPEKEPE etc.), while more and more often people take to the streets. That is why we choose to weaponize our denials, to collectivize our resistances and by putting forward the anarchist ideals to fight until we walk the path that Kyriakos illuminated.

The raised fists of the anarchist comrades Marianna and Dimitra, the consistency, the political commitment and the political defense of the memory of comrade Kyriakos at all costs, give us one more reason to take a stand in the here and now.

Kyriakos Xymitiris one of us, a comrade forever on the roads of fire.

The heart of the resistance beats in Palestine

Freedom for those prosecuted for the Ampelokipi case.

Unmarked Police Cars Set on Fire (Berlin, Germany)

“And though some never returned,

they live on in every breath of freedom among us.

And though some fell in battle,

they stand by our side in every action.

And though some left us early,

they lead the way and pave our path.”

On the night of 24 October 2025, we set fire to an unmarked police car belonging to the Berlin police outside the Section 24 police station in Berlin. The unmarked police vehicles are parked on the central reservation on Kaiserdamm.

Sixteen people have already been shot dead by the police in Germany this year. And while family and friends are still trying to comprehend this brutal reality, the state and the press are blaming the dead. After Lorenz was executed in Oldenburg on the night of 20 April 2025 with shots to the back of the head, upper body, hip and thigh, lies about an alleged knife attack are being spread. Just as was done in the cases of Hussam Fadl, Lamin Touray, Mouhamed Lamine Dramé and countless others. If, thanks to public pressure, charges are brought, the uniformed perpetrators leave the courtroom with dismissals and acquittals.

Meanwhile, Black and migrant people continue to be subjected to racist police violence on a daily basis, enduring random checks, life-threatening pain holds and degrading abuse that all too often ends in death. This also affects homeless people, people with mental illnesses and LGBTIQ* individuals. Racist, criminal and deadly police practices are omnipresent. The unbroken belief in Germany in ‘the human behind the uniform’ seems to be a consensus in many minds, not despite but rather because of the Nazi past. This is evident in the established claim that right-wing police officers and soldiers are ‘isolated cases’, even though no one is able to count the multitude of right-wing extremist chat groups, networks supporting the NSU, and armed groups from “Nordkreuz” to ‘Nordbund’. And it is evident in the broad social acceptance of massive police violence, as long as it affects those who are marginalised as foreign, different or sick.

While relatives and anti-racist initiatives have to fight for every bit of visibility after police killings, the racist violence of the state has been openly and proudly displayed over the past two years when it comes to suppressing protests in solidarity with Palestine. The persecution of migrant organisations as part of German police practice is nothing new. In the decades-long criminalisation of Kurds and Turks under Section 129b, the German state exemplifies its pursuit of geopolitical interests. Good relations with Turkey are, among other things, an important basis for border deals and arms exports. As protests grew in response to the increasing killings in Palestine, German state policy coincided with a police apparatus that is historically rooted in the continuities of colonial exploitation and violence, Nazi history and militarism.

With political backing, the police stormed the demonstrations wherever and whenever they wanted, beating up people who chanted in Arabic, wore keffiyehs or demanded freedom for Palestine. The pattern has not changed much since the beginning of colonialism: people who are not recognisable to the police and the press as white and German are grouped together as a collective, assigned to a region and assigned stereotypical ‘cultural’ characteristics. In this way, a diverse movement of tens of thousands of people could be publicly placed under general suspicion of being a front organisation for Hamas, driven by anti-Semitism. The right to freedom of assembly currently no longer exists for the Palestine movement.

In Berlin’s schools, too, the state’s interpretative authority is to be enforced under the guise of alleged anti-Semitism prevention. Since 7 October, the Senate Administration has allowed schools to ban the wearing of Palestinian symbols. According to anti-discrimination agencies, this decree has led to massive intimidation of students.

But while every ‘From the river to the sea’ is reinterpreted as an anti-Semitic fantasy of extermination, actual attacks on Jews or synagogues are only of interest to politicians insofar as they can be used as ammunition to discredit the protests. The fact that thousands of the more than 6,700 cases brought by the Berlin public prosecutor’s office against the solidarity movement have been dismissed by the courts for lack of suspicion or relevance is unlikely to bother those responsible. The Berlin police have always preferred to punish protests themselves. Springer & Co take care of the rest with their ‘reporting’.

And before anyone gets the impression that this police state is sufficiently well established, let’s conclude with a look at Berlin’s new police law: ASOG. The black-red state government is creating a new police law that includes more video surveillance, state Trojans and, above all, a significant shift in the powers of intervention of the police. In Berlin, so-called ‘crime-prone locations (KbOs)’ were created years ago, such as Görlitzer Park, the U8 underground line and Rigaer Straße.

With the new ASOG, video surveillance is to be added to these locations, which will be evaluated using AI. This will also be possible for public events. Palantir’s ‘Gotham’ analysis software will make the masses of digital data usable for Berlin officials in the future. The Fraunhofer Institute’s ‘behavioural recognition AI’ is now to be used in Berlin, following its deployment in Hamburg and Mannheim. The plan is to train the AI with images from surveillance cameras in KbOs, recordings of endangered objects, and police footage from helicopters and drones. If the law is passed, the cops will be allowed to secretly install state Trojans in homes in future. This draft also deals with the cops wanting access to encrypted chat messages by allowing them to intercept these before messenger services encrypt them.

Fire and flames for the cops!

Freedom for Nanuk, Maja and all anti-fascists!

Freedom for the defendants in the Ampelokipi trial!

Greece: Arson Attack on a MAT Cop’s House

Responding to the call of comrades Marianna Manoura and Dimitra Zarafetta for an October of multifaceted actions for the honor of comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris, in the early hours of Thursday 16/10 we attacked with arson the MAT police house at 1 Georgiou Papandreou Street in Zografou. We have chosen to honor the anarchist fighter Kyriakos Xymitiris because he was a comrade who participated through many forms of actions in the anarchist movement and remained faithful to his ideas until the end.

We consider that such actions continue the legacy of those struggles in which the partner participated. Also, this target was chosen due to the attack by the police on demonstrators on 7/10 during the solidarity march for Palestine and the attack by the police on 3/10 on people who were in shops on Koletti Street and more broadly in the neighborhood of Exarchia.

For Comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris – Revolutionary Struggle

A year ago, comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris lost his life while building an explosive device. He had decided to respond in this dynamic way to some great injustice, to defend a right, to a class and anti-social state policy… Whatever he had decided to do, whatever action he had chosen, it was certainly an armed political action against a savage and deeply unjust system of power that in our time shows more and more bluntly its antisocial and racist face. A deeply class-based system of power that now openly shows its hatred towards anything that does not bring profit and power.

Comrade Kyriakos lost his life walking on the path of armed anti-regime action. In the great world history of the armed struggle, many fighters have given their lives in the struggle against authoritarian governments, against authoritarian regimes, against anti-social policies, against interstate wars. They gave their lives in the struggle for a better society. They gave their lives fighting with a gun in their hands.

They gave their lives by placing or manufacturing explosive devices. They gave their lives for a society without divisions, without poverty, without wars, for social liberation.

In this struggle, no one is lost. Death does not erase their social and political imprints that remain deeply engraved in revolutionary history.

Today and every day that passes, we see the entanglements of the state and capital crushing millions of people. The system of power has brought to the surface every weapon at its disposal and uses it to stifle resistance, to consolidate consensus through coercion and violence, to maintain passivity in the social base, to impose any anti-social measure it wants, to increase the profits of big capital by stealing from the majority. Capital and modern states bring to the surface their most brutal, ruthless face in history. Either they will expand and strengthen their sovereignty over other states or they will let the privileges of their sovereignty shrink and wither. In a deep systemic crisis that has a past and a future and in which states and capital are sinking deeper and deeper, we experience every day generalized -indirect or direct- social cleansings, wars, genocides of entire peoples, raw racism, the extermination of the pariah, extreme economic exploitation. All of this is connected in a network of managing a crisis of survival of the system and maintaining profits for the super-rich of the planet. Along with every form of violence unleashed by the dominant system of power against the weak, the poison of hatred for the different and for the weak that infects the youth is also unleashed. Resistance and anti-state struggle are becoming increasingly demanding and at the same time increasingly necessary.

Fighters like Kyriakos who do not bend, who do not give up, who are not afraid to confront the choice of armed action in an era when excessive regime violence surpasses any modern historical precedent, the least that is due
to them is to become points of reference for the continuation of the struggle and the inspiration of all.

Comrade Kyriakos will forever remain a living example of total dedication and selflessness in a common struggle that concerns all of society.

Comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris will always be present in the struggle for social liberation from the shackles of the state and capital.

He is Immortal

(Greece) October Is Month of Action for Anarchist Revolutionary Kyriakos Xymitiris. Words by Marianna and Dimitra

(Greece) October is a month of remembrance and action for the anarchist revolutionary Kyriakos Xymitiris.

As long as there are those who die in combat, we will exist to continue the war.

And when we die, we die like stars that scatter light. Like that light that shone a year before the explosion in the Ampelokipi apartment on October 31, when the anarchist armed fighter Kyriakos Xymitiris was going through the last part of his journey, where everything is condensed in an instant, where his revolutionary consciousness is aligned with the desire to put an end to this aging world that feeds on his flesh.

Filled with immense camaraderie, determination, and no inclination to back down, he pledged to fight with a vision of freedom. With clear eyes, comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris made no concessions to emotion, he loved life and honored it with every breath he took. Both in Berlin and in Athens, he participated indistinctly in all fields of struggle. In demonstrations and marches against gentrification, in anti-fascist and anti-patriarchal patrols, in massive poster pastings, in militant defenses of occupations, in struggles against colonialism and prisons.

He remained firm in his anarchist convictions. In this suffocating world built on powers that strangle the savage beauty of uncontrolled freedom, on predatory policies, on policies of death and wars that the Western powers established in the countries of the “third world” by trampling on corpses, on cynical confessions of the type “he who does not adapt, dies”, comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris did not look away. In this world of manufactured emotions, standardized behaviors, social contracts, mass apathy, comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris lived relentlessly in the here and now. In a context of intensifying authoritarianism and militarization, of growing insecurity and widespread impoverishment, comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris achieved his own transcendence, renounced his social privileges and assumed his responsibility. At a time when relationships are criminalized by filling pages and pages of long accusations, when systematic imprisonments try to send a strong message of criminal terrorism, when the judicial mechanism shows its claws to the poor devils and turns its gaze to the crimes of state capitalism, comrade Kyriakos demonstrated that the strategy of repression does not intimidate revolutionary consciences. At a time when the movement is suffering a setback, due to the internalization of repression, adaptability and integration, comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris decided not to give in and to contribute to the historical configuration of subversive events. Defying the times, he opted for the path of political and revolutionary responsibilities. Armed with courage and determination, he chose to respond to the violence of domination.

His priority was to preserve the revolutionary tradition of specific means of struggle, which over time had become inactive. Faced with the monopoly of violence of power, he responded by choosing liberating violence as a means to end the suffering suffered by the majority of humanity. Comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris sharpened the dialectic and refused to accept that those who hold power are the only legitimate exponents of violence. He fought without guarantees, without safe and infallible conditions, with soul, faith and determination.

Because it is a war. A class and social war. And for comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris, inaction did not even exist as a possibility.

In this war, by choosing life, he fell fighting. His death is therefore an affirmation of life, and the preservation of his revolutionary memory is anything but a neutral process. It is a thorn in the side of oblivion and a crack in history imposed by the rulers. It is part of our own struggle, our present and our future. It is living history. A history that was built on the smiles and complicit looks of our own people, our own friends, our own comrades.

And if some did not return, they live among us in every breath of freedom. And if some of them fell in combat, they accompany us in every action we undertake. And if some of them left early, they walk in front of us and pave the way for us. And they are all the ones who filled the inkwell of revolutionary history with their blood. We may not have walked alongside them, but we walked beside them. We may not have chosen the same path, but we were looking at the same sky. Because we had chosen resistance, revolutionary vision, hatred for this world and love for life. And their subversive memory acts as fuel in our fires, as ink in our texts, as slogans in our marches and as stones in our pockets, giving meaning to their death, calling them to another battle. Over and over again…

It is we who must preserve his memory, remember his explosive action and his sharp determination. It is we who must transform common grief into anger and aggressive formation. It is we who must give something for those who gave everything.

Let’s turn October into a month of memory and insurrectional struggle. Let us proudly stand by our comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris through actions and interventions, through posters and barricades, through activities and conspiracies. Let’s keep his memory alive, defend his decisions, make sure he is still PRESENT.

We create, therefore, moments of anarchist expression breaking the norm. Let us question the myth of the omnipotence of the State and social peace by proposing solidarity, equality and freedom, let us overcome our limits, deploying our subversive dispositions in a militant way in the streets. We collide with the cannibalistic system by experiencing moments that take our breath away. Let us defend our ideas in practice, claiming life instead of survival, companionship instead of alienation, freedom instead of submission, conflict instead of integration.

It is up to those who feel part of themselves to support Kyriakos and manifest in every possible and unlikely way the break with the world of power. And our own hearts, from our own hearts, will accompany you in every battle. Over and over again…

We will never be ourselves again.
We must profoundly change
The way things happened.
When our comrades die,
we mourn them.
When our comrades die,
Let’s take revenge.
When our comrades die,
We wonder why.
We must profoundly change
the way things happened.

Claim of Responsibility for Arson of Cop’s Vehicle in Elliniko, Greece

At dawn on 25/7 we carried out an arson attack on a private cop’s motorcycle in the area of Elliniko. As a result, it suffered significant damage and was forced to repair it. This move was not accidental as we chose to attack a uniformed garbage at a time when the state is increasingly strengthening the security forces with more funds in equipment and human resources, as well as privileges for them. This is done in an attempt by the state to shield internal social peace against resistance, against those who struggle, against the internal enemy, against the anarchist space. So it uses the cops as protectors of the politically and economically powerful, securing their interests. In the same strategy, it militarizes repression and control, tightens the laws and the penal code. At the same time, it displaces those who are left over and sterilizes the city center and public spaces (parks, squares, universities, etc.), evacuates squats and takes more security forces to protect goods, tourism, construction, and in general the gentrification and investment plans at the expense of the poor and persecuted.

With this move we want to remind in every direction that for us no cop can sleep peacefully and everyone has a responsibility from the moment they consciously decide to support the state and sovereignty with their work.

We dedicate this action to the memory of the anarchist comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris

We send incendiary signals of solidarity to the anarchist comrades Marianna and Dimitra who are being prosecuted for the same case

Anger and rage over the vengeful treatment of Maja T., who is in the hellish cells of the Hungarian state due to their anti-fascist activity

(Germany) Incendiary Attack on 36 Vans of War Collaborators Telekom and Amazon

[On the night of Monday to Tuesday, June 17 in Berlin, 36 vans of the war collaborators Telekom and Amazon went up in flames: 17 vehicles of the first company in the Lichtenberg neighborhood, and 19 vehicles of the second in the Britz neighborhood, a few minutes apart, around 3 a.m. Below we reproduce the statement of this antimilitarist attack published in de.indymedia on the same day].

Antimilitarist attack against collaborators with the army, Amazon and Telekom

Last night, several vans of Amazon and Telekom were set on fire in the south (Britz district) and east (Lichtenberg district) of Berlin. Neither the fences nor the cameras managed to prevent the antimilitarists from attacking these two army collaborators. Both companies benefit greatly from widespread militarization and wars. That is why it is right to sabotage them.

Instead of a champagne reception, we opted to celebrate the opening of Amazon-Tower with charred shells. But we find this gruesome building repulsive not only because of its impact on the neighborhood, but also because of all the other dirty tricks of this tech giant, and in particular because of its active participation in war and genocide. Amazon’s servers and cloud services are used by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to store the massive amounts of data resulting from mass surveillance of the Palestinian population. Through its subsidiary Amazon Web Systems (AWS), Amazon is one of the IDF partners. In 2021, AWS, Google, and Microsoft signed contracts with the IDF to use their servers (Project Nimbus). Since the Israeli invasion and the complete destruction of the Gaza Strip that it caused, the IDF needs much greater computing capacity to be able to use its military AI programs.

AWS servers are mainly used for this. The IDF and AWS work very closely together and consult on specific airstrikes. This means that the annihilation and starvation of Gaza that is taking place before our very eyes, the planned forced displacement of the entire population, and the AI-based slaughter and maiming of hundreds of thousands of people, many of them children, are calculated and stored on Amazon Web Services servers. But Amazon is also militarily active in other areas: as a major trading partner of the U.S. military, for example, and as a generous sponsor of King Trump’s military parade in Washington last Saturday. The State and Capital moving in the same direction towards fascism.

War, militarization, genocide, and the policy of genocide and imperialism are now based on high technology. To function, the state and the global military system need a very complex technological infrastructure. In Germany, it is managed and developed by the state-owned company Telekom. No war works without technology, and the German Federal Armed Forces benefit greatly from the militarization taking place around the world. Telekom supports the Federal Army in the field of cyber defense and trains soldiers in IT. Companies like Telekom benefit from rearmament, the $400 billion government budget to make people “fit for war” and the reintroduction of military service.

Similarly, Telekom is making money as a computer provider to border authorities, police and intelligence services, in the war against refugees at Europe’s external borders and in the growing militarization at home. Nor have we forgotten that, as one of the world’s largest telecommunications providers thanks to its acquisition of the Greek telephone operator OTE as part of the Troika’s measures, Telekom has made a name for itself as one of the world’s leading telecommunications providers. Telekom was one of the main beneficiaries of the wave of massive privatizations during the Greek crisis. For this reason, the company has already attracted criticism, both here and elsewhere, becoming the target of numerous attacks.

In addition, through T-Systems, Telekom is doing business with techno-fascist Elon Musk’s Starlink company. T-Systems offers the U.S. and other countries a service that uses thousands of Starlink satellites to send text messages into space despite white areas. Elon Musk is not just a shining fascist, he is the richest man in the world, and with his megalomaniac projects he wants to colonize not only Earth, but also space and the planet Mars. In the race to see which macho has the most satellites and the most power, he is closely followed by Amazon boss Jeff Bezos with his Project Kuiper satellite project (which will soon include 3,200 satellites). These two companies now resemble non-state empires that are also increasingly important in military terms: Starlink not only supports Ukraine and Israel in their military attacks with data – Musk also has the power to prevent these same attacks by making Starlink data available. So Musk and Bezos, with their network of technocratic companies, not only benefit from the war, but can now also determine its course.

We believe that today, as yesterday, it is right to attack the collaborators of the army. What is surprising is not that antimilitarists attack military enterprises, but that not all those who abhor wars and massacres attack military enterprises. What is surprising is not that the antimilitarists want to sabotage the war, but that all those who are against militarization and rearmament do not do their bit to contribute to disarmament. What is surprising is not that people are deeply affected by the genocide and the war of extermination in Gaza and the forced displacement of Palestinians from the West Bank, but that half the world has apparently become accustomed to seeing a far-right government commit genocide. What is surprising is not that so many people are trying to stop this genocide, but that so few are trying to burn to the ground the homes, businesses, warehouses and infrastructure that benefit from this ruthless bloodbath and make it possible.

Whether in Palestine, the Congo, Sudan, Ukraine or Myanmar, it is the ruling classes that benefit from wars.

Sabotage and revolt are legitimate, it is legitimate to vindicate life against militarism and the technologies of death, just as it is legitimate to vindicate and defend antimilitarism against nationalism.

It is right to liberate life from all militarism and war, from the state and patriarchy.

Against all wars and armies.

Love and strength for Maya on hunger strike and for all the others imprisoned in the Budapest case, for Nanuk, Daniela and the anarchists N and M.

A hug and warm greetings to Athens where Marianna, Dimitra, Dimitris, Nikos and AK are imprisoned in Korydallos prison.

Thessaloniki, Greece: Arson Attack on House of New Democracy Politician

For a year and a half now, we have been witnessing a genocide in a live broadcast. The murderous state of Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians in an attempt to implement its colonial plan to displace them from Palestine. 77 years of expulsions, imprisonments, torture and murders. Coming to the present day, the fascist state of Israel is moving into the next phase and seeks the complete extermination of the Palestinian population that counts over 55,000 dead. In recent times, hunger has been used as another tool of death, preventing any kind of humanitarian aid from passing through and leading to starvation of the Palestinians, culminating in the drone attack on the Freedom Flotilla and the kidnapping and deportation of the Madleen crew.

All this is happening with the wishes of the civilized West, which is not only deafeningly silent but actively supports this genocidal war, with the eyes of multinational capital turned to Gaza and the West Bank. U.S. President Donald Trump’s statements about the investment opportunity to transform Palestinian land into a tourist resort were characteristic. The Greek state could not remain inactive by maintaining one of the toughest stances in Europe, thus hoping to strengthen its leading position in the Eastern Mediterranean and its role on the global chessboard more broadly. It continues to maintain energy alliances with Israel, ensuring the service of Greek shipowners’ capital. Some examples of Greece’s collaborations with Israel are the construction of an electrical interconnection through a 1518 km long subsea cable, which will unite Israel, Cyprus, Crete and mainland Greece. The creation of a natural gas power plant in Larissa with an investment of 600 million euros and the IMEC economic corridor, between India, the Middle East and Europe, where the passage to the latter is discussed to be through the port of Piraeus. As far as the military sector is concerned, in 2023 Greece ceded its airspace to Israel for Iranian bombing simulation exercises. At the same time, Greece’s role in operations in the Red Sea has been upgraded with its participation in the U.S.-led operation ‘Guardian of Prosperity’ against the Houthis and the direction of the European Operation Shields with the operations headquarters based at the base in Larissa. Finally, Greek capital is strengthened by the investments of Israeli companies with the purchase of residential, hotel and commercial real estate, making Greece a leisure destination for Zionist tourists and active IDF soldiers who need a break from the genocidal war they participate in (see NGO Swords of Iron which provides soldiers with complete vacation packages in Greek destinations).

On the other hand, the Palestinians have been resisting for 77 years with whatever means at their disposal. From their staying in their territories, which in itself is an act of resistance, to their organization into armed organizations, they show the way to all the peoples of the world and are a source of inspiration for every rebellious person. We dedicate our action to the fighting people of Palestine.

We take responsibility for the low-power arson attack on the house of Stratos Simopoulos, MP of New Democracy in Thessaloniki, at 1 Karyotaki Street, in the area of March, in the early hours of June 9th.

He also served as general secretary of public works at the Ministry of Transport from 2012 to 2014, while to this day he expresses the extreme right-wing space of New Democracy with timeless statements of racist, homophobic and sexist content (he has mentioned that he honors Metaxas, that his values are the homeland, religion and family, referring to the fence of Evros) while there are also statements by him that downplay the problems of society such as the dead of the pandemic. (He has characterized the dead of the pandemic as a stain and that the pandemic concerns a small part of society and many people have a good time and have fun)

“The decision to block the site was welcome”

Stratos Simopoulos

More than two years have passed since the capitalist crime of Tempi when two trains collided head-on, resulting in 57 people losing their lives and at least 87 being injured. Already the day after the conflict, the media and state apparatus as a whole tried to disorient public opinion and abdicate its responsibilities by throwing all the burden of the dissonance on the station master and presenting it as an individual mistake. However, despite the orchestrated attempt at a cover-up, it is obvious that Tempi was neither an accident nor a human error, but precisely a predetermined crime. A tangible proof that our lives within the capitalist system are expendable, as insignificant as their profit dictates.

The condition of the Greek railways has been degraded for decades. As early as the 90s, when TRAINOSE was created, undertaking the passenger transport part as a subsidiary of OSE, the lack of modernization was evident, while debts began to accumulate. Thus, gradually, in an effort to comply with the requirements of the EU, in 1996 under the PASOK government and then in 2005 under the New Democracy government, OSE is fragmented, with the latter even talking about the need for immediate privatization. In 2009, the PASOK government ceded 49% of TRAINOSE to private individuals, while by 2010 the company had acquired a debt of 10.7 billion, paving the way for collapse and complete privatization. Then, in 2013, the PASOK New Democracy coalition government, in alignment with the memorandum policies, carried out the legislative framework of its private exploitation, which was finally fulfilled by the SYRIZA/ANEL government in 2017 with the sale for 45 million euros to the Italian Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group. Specifically, the part of passenger transport and ticket profits were sold off, while the responsibility for the maintenance of the lines and infrastructure, i.e. the most damaging part, remained under the management of the Greek state. These policies, therefore, were the result of the combination of decisions of the national state administration and the international political and economic situation. In fact, it is important to emphasize that they did not just come to serve the interests of bad foreign capital, but that at the same time they strengthened the profit of small and large local capital, as is the case with the degradation of all public services. That is why logics that want more of a welfare state and present it as a protector that will heal us, can only disorient us from what its role really is as a guarantor of capitalist profitability and oppressor of our lives. It is not only privatizations that give birth to death, but also the inevitable murderous unity of the interests of the state and capital.

Within all this context, in order to bring out the broken ones of fragmentation and privatization, there was a lack of any technological means and understaffing, betting on roulette for the lives of workers and passengers. A key point in this story is also the non-implementation of the 717 contract, regarding the implementation of the system of remote control signaling, the installation of traffic lights and the general modernization of the network. The New Democracy government, with Kostas Karamanlis as the competent minister, donated 600 million euros to Hellenic Train, money that was intended for investments for the benefit of the public. Workers and technical safety officers have been trying to warn about this desperate situation for years with letters and memoranda. These warnings were not only ostentatiously ignored, but also considered the work stoppages of the train drivers’ union illegal. In fact, we do not forget that the crime in Tempi was also one of the biggest employer murders (11 employees). Even then, of course, Hellenic Train maintained its voracious stance, proceeding to mass layoffs of workers.

In that first year of 2023, despite the strikes and the massive participation of people in the demonstrations, it was not possible to create a dynamic organized movement as they managed to prevail the narratives of dysfunction, human error and national mourning, washing away the overall responsibility of the state and capital. However, arriving two years later, we witnessed an unprecedented situation, starting with the march of January 26 and culminating in the strike of February 28, which was the most massive march since the change of government, while the demonstrations that followed the following week were just as dynamic with widespread clashes, proving that the crime of Tempe, is not just an expired issue, but a boiling cauldron. At the same time, in those days, the media apparatus had engaged in an attempt to intimidate and delegitimize social anger, referring to provocateurs and agents, a rhetoric that also serves the interests of the state apparatus by presenting it as the holder of the monopoly of violence and preventively suppressing any reaction. An important role in this revival and the dynamic return of the issue to the forefront of the news were contributed by the new evidence that came to light, linking the government to the existence of illegal flammable materials in commercial trains, revealing that the boundaries between state and parastate are indistinguishable, even non-existent. Buried archives of photographic and videotape material that were excluded from the case file, audio documents with the last moments of people on the train, lightning blockade of the crime scene by government order, forgiveness of sins of the Hellenic Train administration, the Ministry of Transport, and all those responsible over the years created the mosaic of cover-up. Obviously, we are not impressed by the takeovers of the state with the parastate, the mafia and the black economy, as they are the sides of the same coin. Nor will we insist on misleading dipoles between the rule of law or a corrupt government, because they can only work in a disorienting way. The truth is not behind a curtain in the dark, but in front of our eyes. The responsibilities do not lie with individual persons, but with the state and capital as a whole.

These magnificent marches were accompanied by subjects with clear distances, and various demands, often in opposition to each other, with the main one being the administration of justice and against the cover-up. Of course, we know that quantity alone is not enough. The bet, however, is that we will interpret the situation and leave a legacy. How can we transform quantity into quality, diffuse indignation and anger into organization, and fragmentary reactions into intransigent and continuous struggle.

Through the emergence of the state-capitalist murder of Tempe, the discussion about the better policy that the Greek state has followed over time inevitably arises. We choose to make an extensive reference with central legislation introduced by the New Democracy government in the last six years as a natural continuation and enrichment of previous governments. We believe that in recent years, there has been an acceleration towards two paths that complement each other: one political direction concerns the privatization of all aspects of life and the other the ideological and “practical” completion of the doctrine of law and order in all fields. The combination of these two axes could not be better reflected in the government program of New Democracy for universities. The complete (re)abolition of asylum in 2019 was the first step followed by the passage of Law 4777 in February 2021, known as the Kerameos Chrysochoidis Law. The provision of this legislation is the educational restructuring with the cooperation of the Ministry of Education, the expulsion of students with the implementation of Law 2, the establishment of university police and disciplinary councils with the aim of repression of struggling students. Of course, the vote of 4777 turned a blind eye to private education, for which the law on private universities in Greece was voted in March 2024. Of course, all this does not pass without a fight. The huge student movement that broke out in 2021, managed to put the implementation of the law on ice (the OPPI cops were abolished), while its continuation in the spring of 2022 with the daily mobilizations and clashes against the police camp at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, as well as the mass occupations of the faculties at the beginning of 2024 against the private universities, threatened state and government targets.

We perceive the ideological obsession of New Democracy with the universities as an obsession that comes over time from the rulers who suppress the resistances that are born within the universities. Resistances that we detect at least from the years of the dictatorship, from the fall of the junta and the deaths of the Polytechnic, resistances that create radical struggles by students and non-students, squats, hangouts, clashes with the police, fascists and DAPites.

The graveyard silence that they are trying to impose on a space that historically gives birth to struggles, naturally wants to prevail in the slums of capitalism, that is, in the workplaces, with the aim of further impoverishing the proletariat and bending all resistance. With the passage of the Hatzidakis law in 2021 and its continuation with the Georgiadis law in 2023, the abolition of the 8-hour workday, the legalization of unpaid overtime and Sunday work in more sectors, the abolition of the five-day work week in industry are institutionalized. For the circumvention of these gains that were won through bloody struggles, such a law clearly includes its repressive provisions by applying the criminalization of trade unionism, strikes, prison sentences and heavy fines for the occupation of buildings by workers. The message is clear: in voracious capitalism you live only to work and consume. Anyone who fights is targeted and repressed, while at the same time we count almost 100 employer murders in 2025 alone.

Picking up the thread of privatizations again, one of the most miserable conditions is taking place in the field of public health and the dismantling of the NHS. We do not forget the dead of the pandemic. The legalization of the afternoon surgeries, the understaffing, the resignations and dismissals of staff denouncing the miserable conditions and the closure of hospitals and health centers demonstrate the direction towards the privatization of healthcare. Of course, the mental health structures were not left unscathed, which led to set-off and closure after the passage of the Vartzopoulos law of 2024. We are not fetishists of the public sector or defenders of state bodies, but we make it clear that the privatization of all social benefits is the class attack of the state and capital on the social base.

In the wake of the government’s agenda, the anti-immigration policy and the organized attack against the Roma (with a recent example being the announcement of the creation of special security forces for Roma) could not be missing as an integral part of the racist policy of the Greek state. Every week we are spectators of state killings of migrants at sea and land borders, with the most massive taking place on June 14, 2023 off the coast of Pylos with 600 dead migrants.

From the list of hostile reforms could not be missing the tightening of the penal code that contributes to absolute penal populism. The direction is more prison, and it is reflected in increases in minimum and maximum sentence limits and in the difficulty of the suspension that leads to the actual execution of a sentence for minor offenses. All this in a landscape where type C prisons are maintained while at the same time revenge transfers and disciplinary measures are carried out on people who are fighting within the walls.

Finally, in order to complete the agenda of order and security, we cannot fail to mention the all-out state attack against the a/a space, the eternal internal enemy. The ultimatums for the occupations and the countless evictions in recent years show the state’s anger towards the structures of struggle and the attempt to dismantle territorialization within the urban fabric. Lately we have also observed the frequent raids of the cops on the homes of comrades with little evidence. No matter how much the state and its proxies try to distract public opinion from the misery of our lives, we will remain a thorn in their neck and remind them that nothing is over and that everything continues.

We mention all this in order to bring back to the forefront some key policies that have been implemented in recent years. We are not targeting any anti-government propaganda. As we have said, the state has continuity and we do not enter into the logic of good and bad governments, since we understand that whatever color the rulers wear, they exist to serve the interests of capital. Nevertheless, we want to demonstrate the policies that are exercised by the state, of which New Democracy is the main administrator. At the same time, we do not ignore the fact that this government is a state within a state, it has been deeply involved in the state apparatus for decades, while the family rule within it as the elite of the ruling class in Greece has been traced at least since the Second World War. Our aim is neither to sow terror nor to talk about an unprecedented repressive condition. This is neither the first nor the last time that the state has tried to end every aspect of life on the altar of profit. However, it is important in times when there is no strong social resistance and there is a generalized climate of fear, to create political costs with our action and to demonstrate the criminal policies of the Greek state.

For our part, we recognize that the struggle by all means has always existed as a necessary condition for the continuation of the multifaceted revolutionary struggle against the state and capital. As long as power intensifies the repressive policy, the strugglers must take action and sharpen the class and social war. The state is not an abstract concept that operates in the automatic, on the contrary it has structures and positions staffed by persons, it has facilities that can become our targets and be attacked, breaking social calm. Our visits to the homes of politicians, cops and judges return a minimal percentage of violence that we receive every day and reminds us that the position they have chosen in social competition has consequences and will always be in our sights. Whoever speaks of resistance, of revolution and of rupture with the existing and does not act in this direction, has a corpse in his mouth. We cannot wait for the right timing to organize our class self-defense, while capitalist barbarism is advancing more and more. If we want to talk about totalitarian regimes and epochs that resemble dictatorships, we must also make the corresponding choices that will be able to hurt the enemy and overturn the existing unfavorable conditions. Revolutionary class warfare carries responsibilities, risks and losses, and the world that chooses to take a fighting position in it are not aliens. She is your neighbor who destroys her body in the dungeons of wage slavery and fights daily for her survival. It’s the student who works while studying because the rents have reached god, it’s people next door who have the same problems as the working class since they’re part of it.

One such person was comrade Kyriakos Ximitiris who lost his life on 31/10 in an apartment on Arcadias Street after a bomb explosion. A man given to the struggle for the social revolution who, realizing the issues at stake of the time, armed his denials and walked on the difficult path of the anti-state struggle. We may not have had the good fortune to meet him, yet he is always in our thoughts when we take action.

After the death of our partner and the injury of our comrade Marianna who was in the apartment, the anti-terrorist police, as usual, set up a repressive scene by torturing the comrade while she was still hospitalized in a serious condition. They took DNA without her approval and with fast track procedures they detained her and transferred her to the women’s prison of Korydallos, one day after the second surgery she had undergone. They then targeted the close circle of comrades and with minimal evidence, they arrested and detained comrade Dimitra and comrade Dimitris. Finally, in order to serve the narrative of the connection between old and new terrorists and with the only element being a partial imprint in a bag in a destroyed apartment, the anti-terrorist police arrest comrade Nikos Romanos and A.K. and integrate them into the same terrorist organization as the rest of the arrested and imprison them. A key role in this whole affair was played by the media. Fully in tune with the narrative of the anti-terrorist police on a daily basis, through the 20:00 bulletins, they described as a success the dismantling of the police and the witch hunt they had unleashed. They released photos and information about the personal lives of those arrested, while at the same time presenting comrade Kyriakos as a near-murderer who would plant a bomb with many victims. We want to make it clear that the murderers and terrorists are you who have been plunging society into poverty and misery for decades. You who are doing everything to bury the crime of Tempi by mocking and threatening even the relatives of the victims. We will be forever against you, fighting you in every possible way until the moment when the anger of the people sends you to the garbage of history.

Thessaloniki, Greece: Incendiary Attack at a Cop’s House

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR INCENDIARY ATTACK AT A COP’S HOUSE

The landscape is constantly changing. Global and domestic developments constantly bring us before the lens of war, filling us with fear and uncertainty. Redistribution of wealth, “neighboring” wars, inflation and so many other words that constantly pound our minds in daily news headlines. Nothing can remind us of the golden decades of yesterday while the future looks bleak. Greece, through its strategic geopolitical position, is not absent from the sphere of global developments. As a member country of N.A.T.O it serves its part for the great powers, while at the same time, trying to combat “domestic enemies”, it tightens its repressive measures.

In recent years, we have observed an extreme form of escalation of the arrogant violence of the state and its institutions. One political scandal follows another, while the state-parastate connection is more evident than ever. The cost of political responsibility is an illusory dream of the past, as everything is unfolding before our eyes. Trafficking circuits, pedophile circuits, illicit construction deals, natural disasters that reveal corruption in infrastructure projects, privatization of state wealth, photographic laws for the persecution of activists and so much more that weave the web of a deep state, which is intertwined in all its individual parts and creates a mafia state.

The biggest and most blatant example of the above is the Tempi case. A case that demonstrated the privatizations to foreign capitalists, the connection of the state with organized crime, the recruitment of their people in key positions, placing on Greek society the responsibility for its long silence regarding the death of 57 people.

All of the above could not be carried out without the existence of the Greek police. A master key to open all doors. Everywhere there is a cop willing to serve the free flow between state and parastate, with his compensation of course. While the state provides them with absolute safety. Even in blatant cases (executions of Roma, shipwreck of Pilos, femicides outside police stations), the cops’ hands are washed clean of blood overnight, giving them the right to roam undisturbed. They plow our cities like sheriffs, militarize our neighborhoods, trying to take back the breaths of freedom we won through the big mobilizations, they attack anyone who struggles and does not express their submissive model.

They are always the ones who will suppress popular anger and protect their bosses by exhausting all the violence they are allowed to use on us. They are the armed human fence that protects our enemies, therefore the first to be targeted and the first to be passed over. And this is because our hatred is a boiling cauldron and is ready to spill everywhere like lava that will burn everything in its path, starting from the boots that block our way to the total destruction of the state apparatus.

For our part, fighting in the social and class war, which is being waged outside the screens of televisions and mobile phones, we must more than ever take up positions of battle with all means, against the state and its institutions. As long as the repressive mechanism shows us its teeth, we know that behind it lies fear, since they know that at any moment the doctrine of law and order can collapse and their social “peace” can be broken. Following the path carved by our comrades who perished by choosing the way of fire, let us also create small cracks in their fragile system, opening paths for our anger to pour out, returning to them a piece of the violence we receive daily.

Fear, then, changes camp. In the early hours of 15/04, we placed an incendiary device at the entrance of the apartment building at 15 Kanari Street in Sykies, where the uniformed scoundrel Konstantinos Gantatsios lives, who serves in the YAT team (at a platoon of the riot police). If you have the illusion that you are invulnerable, remember that the city is small.

We dedicate this attack to the anarchist comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris, but also to all the comrades who chose the difficult path and fell fighting all that we hate. We must not forget that they continue to live through our actions, since the continuation of their struggle is the greatest weapon against oblivion.
