We are recruiting participants for a qualitative research study investigating belonging within the LGBTQ community from a working-class background.
To take part you must: 
•        Identify as both LGBTQ and working-class AND be comfortable discussing both these identities
•        Be over 18 years old
•        Speak fluent English
•        Have internet access

What is the essence of being a woman? An exploration of the lived experience of Filipina Transgender women living in the UK. About the study: TransPinay living in the UK is not a myth. We exist and our representation matters. This research will focus on understanding the underrepresented groups' meaning of living as a transgender women. To reclaim the trans narratives of the Far East, stories on living individuals' authentic lives need to be heard and recognised. Call for participants: You must be over 30 years old, a transgender woman born Filipina currently  living in the UK for at least a year, and available for a face to face or online interview (approx 1 hour). Confidentiality will be maintained throughout the process. The principal investigator of this study is a transgender woman from the Phillipines living and studying in the UK. The University of Northampton Ethics Committee approved this study.
