A new cross stitch project of course, and I think this will become the largest one I will make to date.
At 96*96 stitches, this is a quarter of the total design and I am looking forward to picking this project up at various times in the coming year.

Thanks to the ⁂verse I learned about the designs by Carolyn Manning. Earlier this week I started her Shooting Star: Snapdragon cross stitch pattern.
I've copied a quarter of the design (it's a mirrored pattern) to a stitchfiddle document because I found the pattern I purchased from her website[1] not very useful: I prefer to see the design in its entirety & in color from a computer screen, where I will zoom in as needed.
I love her geometric designs, and this one will keep me busy for some time, because in the photo you see the outline of a quarter of the full design. :embroid:

[1]: It seems as an EU citizen I can no longer purchase directly from this designer due to new GPSR regulations.
After I finished all my holiday embroidery, I started a new quilt project, but I put that project on hold because I apparently was not finished embroidering this year.
I cleaned/checked my floss collection and then simply seemingly raced through this little gem. :crossstitch_grl:
