I think first we can to get past it. Then we had to process what happened. In time, some of the lessons will be learned, but most people don’t want to have to contend with revolutions, if they can avoid it. #LTHEchat

@eLearningTechie it is fine on my laptop but very slow on my android phone. I don't think anyone expects the #LTHEchat to exist in one place, That's the beauty of #openpractice

@eLearningTechie @proftmac I don't find it slow either, on web or app. I do think it's a real shame that #LTHEChat is going to BSky and risk it all happening again over there, rather than help people to settle in over here

He said that ChatGPT could be used as an educational tool, but cautioned that teachers would “need to think carefully about how they apply it in classrooms. There are model biases, inaccuracies, ethical considerations we need to think about before allowing it to be used”.

This is a much better line of thinking than rallying against technology. This happens all the time a new technology emerges.

Yet - there is still much thought needed around how we respond to the #AI paradigm shift in #education. #LTHEchat #ChatGPT #loveLD #AcademicChatter

#AI & #MachineLearning are very much mainstream & increasingly ubiquitous.

These tools are part of the world that school and university leavers will join. They need to be prepared for this -- and businesses will want this as they continue to use & adopt such tools.
