Nová meta studie shrnula, že v případě nehody zvyšuje srážka s vozidlem typu #SUV nebo #LTV (pickup apod.) pravděpodobnost úmrtí nebo vážného zranění chodce nebo cyklisty přibližně o čtvrtinu. Pravděpodobnost usmrcení chodce nebo cyklisty se zvýšila o 44 % v případě dospělých/všech věkových kategorií a o 82 % v případě dětí. To už je safra znatelný rozdíl.
