Lawyers can’t communicate with their clients, and they have no way to appeal the deportation orders. The “third countries” are supposed to be safe alternatives, but widespread abuse has been reported.
A second detainee shot in an attack on a Dallas immigration field office last week has died, his family said Tuesday.
