• Granted, noone wanted their #SuperUselessVehicles like the #Epace: I've never even heard or seen anyone who drove one, and I'm shure not even car enthusiasts and reviewers wanted to take a look at it, because it's bland af...

It's neither "sporty" nor "extremely luxurious" and the quality control was really shotty according to reviews.

• I mean, when you think of #Jaguar you think of some big purring engine and some sporty two-door or some luxurious limosine that is above Audi, Mercedes and BMW in terms of quality and basically feels like a right-hand competitor to a #Maserati...

ALMOST NONE OF THEIR VEHICLES of their current lineup has that feel.

• OFC the cat on the hood had to go for #CrashCompatiility reasons (having some protrusion on the top of the hood isn't nice towards pedestrians and cyclists) tho #MercedesBenz had the same issue and were able to keep concerns low by having the star on a too easy to break off stem on their hood (to the point that #punks in #Germany wore those like shoulder rank insignia), but that's the leas of their problems...

Cuz why would I want to pay more for a Jaguar when #Audi and others get me the same experience, good interior and even better service networks and 3rd party support?

• Like #LandRover (who don't make good 4x4s anymore - the modern #LandroverDefender is a horrible joke!) they don't make good custom limos which can get padded with Kevlar nor have the quality control to justify paying more?

I think it's good that #Jaguar *stopped making #cars* because the cars they did make in recent times were #SuperUselessVehicles, overpriced and ugly #ConceptCars one couldn't even buy and just generally worse, more expensive and less quality than anything other European brands coughed up.

• If someone wanted something sporty, #Audi and #Porsche would get them a good offering at a lower price.

• If they needed some shitty #SUV, #MercedesBenz and #BMW would offer their GL & X series if a #VW #Tiguan wasn't wasn't cutting it and they didn't want an #Amarok.

• And for anything #cargo or #HighCapacity Jaguar never offered anything (unless we cound requesition production during #WW2 & #WW1)...

I do blame the folks at #TataMotors who own Jaguar (and #LandRover) for refusing to actually innovate and produce some good vehicles.

• And no, going #ElectricVehicle and building #BEV|s isn't the sole reason: Jaguar could've easily done it like #Mazda or #Aiways and just done a sporty car with #RangeExtender or something.

• Also with #Greedflation hitting and their #rich clientele cutting down on costs, buying #LuxuryCars - and expensive #art - is something they cut down first.

Obviously Jaguar won't build a #PersonalLightVehicle even if they were to make a super-luxurious one that has the interior of a fighter jet and a price tag to match.

• Similarly #Bentley struggles as well and for #RollsRoyce their car division - like the #camera division of #Leica - is just a tiny side-hustle kept rolling out of passion and tradition whilst being a rounding error in their finances (cuz the most made Product of Rolls Royce is called "Trent", not "Phantom" and is a turofan engine. likewise Leica makes their money with precision engineering and lab instruments)!

I mean, look at what Jaguar, Land Rover, Bentley, Rolls Royce et. al. offer in a time where people in the U.S. get 5+ year downpayments on USED CARS (!!!) and tell me with a straight face that this is a sustainable market.

Ależ nam się szykuje lato! Pogoda póki co nie rozpieszcza – synoptycy odnotowali najzimniejszy maj od 1951 roku. Czerwiec był nieco lepszy, więc pozostaje mieć nadzieję, że wakacje okażą się dla nas łaskawsze.

Za nami WWDC 2025. Jak co roku Apple zaprezentowało nowe systemy, które trafią na nasze urządzenia we wrześniu. W tym roku król jest tylko jeden – iPadOS 26. Tak, „26” – mamy nowe nazewnictwo, nowy wygląd i wreszcie ogromne zmiany, które dla wielu mogą być ostatecznym argumentem, by zamienić komputer na tablet. Nie mogę się doczekać. W pozostałych systemach też zaszło sporo nowego, choć może nie aż tak spektakularnego – no, może poza Liquid Glass…

W lipcowym wydaniu znajdziecie najlepsze i najobszerniejsze podsumowanie zbliżających się nowości od Apple.

A skoro o wielkich momentach mowa – Robert Kubica wygrał Le Mans! Byliśmy na torze i mamy dla Was relację z tej niesamowitej chwili.

W numerze znajdziecie też sporo ciekawych premier: Realme GT7 w edycji Aston Martina, Motorola Razr 60 Ultra, najnowsze konsole oraz testy – m.in. prawdopodobnie najlepszych słuchawek z ANC od Sony. Jeździliśmy też czterema wyjątkowymi samochodami.

I to wciąż nie wszystko.

Osobiście polecam świetne felietony – m.in. o czasie i sztucznej inteligencji.
