#LazyVim

Does anyone have an example of how to configure lspconfig for #zig in #neovim with #lazyvim? In zigtools they only have an example for a different plugin manager, and I don't think I'm doing it right.

EDIT: to clarify, I'm trying to set this up: zigtools.org/zls/guides/build-

@loupbrun Bon…

For the past few weeks, I've been playing around with the #omarchy #arch #linux operating system, and I appreciate its clean design and ease of use from minute one.

⚠️ When I downloaded the .iso, I had no opinions about its controversial author, David Heinemeier Hansson, so I genuinely tried the operating system without prejudice.

✅ After a while, I removed the pieces of software I didn't need and added a few things. It worked.

🤔 If I must offer criticism, I'm somewhat skeptical about the #chromium choice and the OS boot times (but I have an old Thinkpad, so maybe that's on me). I still haven't tried setting up the VPN properly. And I'm still making mistakes with #lazyvim.

🤓 That said, I really appreciate in-depth technical reviews like this one by マリウス (マリウス.com/a-word-on-omarchy/).

🧞‍♀️ I think perhaps some arch-wizard team could create a sort of #omarchy with less improvised solutions and a more solid architecture, particularly from a #security standpoint. Also, something not coming out from a company repo.

I'm sure someone will give it a shot - because #omarchy looks really good at first sight. I can't wait to see the result.

The more and more I learn, the more and more I go back to the more simple, easy, and straightforward. The shell isn't the same as it was 15 years ago. It has kept up, and I think is still the better option than IntelliJ and VSCode. It takes some configuration and setup, but it's free, it's fast, it's secure, and it just works.

@superketchup I haven't used a lot but it had noticable hiccups when I did :e to open a file. Doing the same in is a smoother experience. I am using with some customizations.

Alright. #LazyVim peeps. When I'm in Normal Mode and hit Shift-K, I get the info hover for the function/method or whatever that my cursor is over. That's great. But for the life of me I cannot seem to figure out how to stop that from popping up constantly as I'm typing when I'm in Insert Mode. Is this part of LSP or Conform? I can't even seem to figure out which plugin specifically is behind this hover popup.

edit: never mind, got it.

Oof for #LazyVim users using #Debian :debian: package version of #NeoVim

https://github.com/LazyVim/LazyVim/issues/6421

LazyVim is super cool, but I wanted to run it deliberately with a command alias `lvim` instead of being default for neovim.

Here's a quick snippet on how I solved it: blog.lane-fu.com/posts/2025/09

Oh nice! #lazyvim 15 fixed my #vue lsp issue I didn't have time to look into how to fix (tbh, I probably shouldn't be using neovim considering how little time I have for debugging issues). Yay!

Сделал небольшое расширение для Raycast – справочник по командам NeoVim (LazyVim). Может быть полезно тем, кто как я постоянно забывает нужные команды 😃

Hey #neovim #lazyvim and #vscode friends - what are you using for multicursor editing?
Nothing I found in the *vim world comes close to @vscode.dev's native "press ⌘D to select next occurence and place additional cursor", then start typing.
Help?!

@schuemaa Downside of #nvim is that things break constantly. It is too fast moving for my taste. I used it with #lazyvim so that might be the main problem. Emacs has #spacemacs and I almost never need to do config changes, etc. after updates.

I would like to use #lazyvim with #neovim . you are wondering what the problem could be?
I need at least #neovim in v0.9.0 (release 04.2023), I can only install v0.8.0 (release 09.2022)
